[RESOLVED] Xbox One Dashboard Crash Mount Panorama Circuit

Forza 7 Xbox One always crashes to dashboard when going to the second race of the Breakout Open cup. Does not matter the vehicle you are using. I have tried several times and game still crashes. Unable to beat series to progress in game. I was able to snag a screenshot on my Xbox before it booted me to the dashboard.

Please fix this ASAP.

Thank you.

UPDATE 10/22/17

Dashboard crash now on Sport Touring in Domination Championship. Appears to be the same track. Except now I’ve done every race and now I’m stuck on the last one… so I have to bail out of it now. Sucks… screenshot again.

UPDATE 10/24/17

As noted on my comments below it appears to be “track” related possibly. I finally got an email back from Microsoft with a list of questions. Now I’m wondering if it might be a problem do to my Xbox firmware. This is the additional information I gave them.

Console: Original Xbox One 500GB w/Kinect
Game: Disc Form
Game Installed: Seagate Game Drive Xbox Edition Green 2TB External Hard Drive
OS Version: 10.0.16299.3036 (rs3_release_xbox_dev_1710.171020-1745)
Xbox Insider: Xbox One Update Preview Alpha
Forza 7 Version: 1.107.5368.0

UPDATE 10/27/17

So I tried to move the game from external to internal hard drive and it failed to copy or move. So I completely uninstalled the game. Installed game to internal and redownloaded all the updates. Free Play loaded up great and I was finally able to complete the Breakout Cup without any problems!!!

I am guessing it was an issue with the original install with corrupted data for the one track. Probably the reason it wouldn’t copy or move the game ether.

I am glad this issue is finally resolved. Woohoo!!!

Bump. Anyone else have the same issue?

I am also facing the same issue, it seems to be with XBO, as I have a High-End Lap (Not gamer Laptop) and tried from there, I am only able to get some progress in the game, by playing it from the Laptop, but It should not happen, I am trying on daily basis and keeps crashing to my XBO dashboard. It does not matter how the weather is in the track, it keeps crashing. I have an Original XBOX One (Not XBO S or X) with the game installed on an external 4TB HDD (518.1 GB free). It’s been more than 20 days, and still seeing new crash reports from users worldwide, it’s a pity for a 60 USD game…

Algo I go daily and check if there are new game updates, but none from Forza 7 since 2 weeks ago.

Turn 10, solve this urgent, as a big Forza fan and follower I feel really dissapointed.

Hope this get fixed soon, please keep posting your game crashes and also any update on this.

I have completed all races on the breakout open without any crashes, I am on an Xbox One S and the game is installed on an external 3TB hard drive.

Use the address to email turn 10 your issues in the sticky on how to report crashes. The problem isn’t with a specific championship, it’s with different tracks, and it’s basically the same issue. The game crashes and you can’t finish a race in a series because it kicks you to the dashboard, keeping you from progressing. TC, you aren’t alone.

Yea I’m on Xbox One ORIGINAL BRICK lol game is running off SEAGATE EXTERNAL XBOX EDITION DRIVE. Also I have physical disc of game and not the digital play anywhere version so I can’t do races via PC.

If I try to load the track in freeplay it gets to where it’s supposed to show the track and words while loading and game completely freezes. Had to go to dashboard and quit game to unfreeze it and reboot it up. Super sucks

Also reason I made my own thread is I didn’t see this issue on the “KNOWN ISSUES” list :frowning:

Wish I knew what other series had this track in it so I can avoid them until they fix the problem. Anyone know of a list anywhere??? Thanks. Save me the energy of doing 5 races and having to bail out again

Issue still not resolved. Maybe the patch “today” will fix it… waiting.

Might be Beta Xbox firmware issue? We will see what Microsoft says. Updated top post.

Issue resolved updated top!

That worked for me too, I completed Seeker and half of the Breakout events without a crash.

Thanks for the last update, it made my game work.
