[RESOLVED] Freeplay races won't load [Xbox One]

I’ve had this issue for about a week now.
Whenever i create a race in Free-Play it won’t load at all.
I can set the options for the race, but once i hit the “load race” button and the track has been loaded the “Start race” and the testdrive buttons are not selectable.
The game keeps on loading indefinitely.

I’ve waited for a maximum of aprox. 25 minutes for the race to start, but it doesn’t.
I also cannot exit to the main menu from there since the game is still loading and i need to restart the console then.

I did not change any race-options during the loading,
the problem doesen’t seem to be track or car specific, and i already reinstalled the game on both the internal HDD and my external USB-HDD.

Since i race in freeplay most of the time,
the game is basically unplayable at the moment.

Try using 2 or more buckets. Set race type to custom.

I have tried all sorts of different settings.
More buckets, races with or without drivatars and rain or night racing.
The game just needs to be patched (again).

If you go to the set up tab and look at car restrictions - can you see how many cars are available - look at the top right handside of that screen. If there are no cars available, that will probably explain why your game keeps hanging. Have a look at that and see what it says.

Switch race type to timed, circuit, etc and back to circuit, or hit y to reset race setup menu.

The complete reset of the settings did it for me.
