For the past few days when I try to load free play I get to the track loading and then nothing. I can’t even back out.
Any help would be appreciated.
What I have tried…
Hard reset
Settings reset to default
Load a timed race
Load a drag race
All other aspects of the game work.
Xbox with fanatec wheel and pedals.

I’ve also had this happen. The most aggravating aspect is that you cannot back out until the track loads (I’d call this a flaw but Turn10 insists it’s a feature).
I’ve had this happen when attempting to complete races for forzathon. I finish one race and continue which causes the next track to load correctly. Then I check forzathon, load up the track I want and it will not load leaving the only option to dashboard and quit the game and I’d be darned if this doesn’t at some point cause a corruption issue resulting in total game save loss.
EDIT: I’d like to point out that once this happened that was it. I’ve since been unable to load a single track in free play.

I guess I’ve been rather lucky with past titles but it seems every stupid, game breaking bug in this game has happened to me. The more and more I try to enjoy this dump of a game the more and more it seems to break. Get your act together Turn10!!!
Did you cycle through race types, end up on circuit type and press the A button?
That does not help. I’m able to set the race up and pick the track. Then I can press A to “go to race” and it loads up the environment, displays the splash screen and puts me on pit Lane. However, at this point it simply continues to display a greyed out box showing
“Track loading” and it doesn’t matter how long I leave it there it simply does not load.
I just don’t understand how at this point this game has not had a single day where something fundamental hasn’t been broken. Maybe they should have delayed release until 2018 and released a working product.
