What will be the path to report wreckers in FM7 ?

Outside of what already exists for reporting Gamertags on Xbox Live, we don’t know.

Unless snowowl volunteers his services then I doubt there will be anything other than xbox live reporting. The race marshalls from fm6 stopped submitting names after nothing was done with the names they already sent. I actually thingk it’s discusting that T10 would rely on volunteers to clean up there game

After reading your post, it’s very clear Turn10 didn’t rely on volunteers because Turn10 didn’t do anything with the list of names the volunteers sent.

I accept I havnt been specific enough in my comment but it’s not false infomation. I’m not going to name names but a marshall has told me they are not waisting there time submitting names when t10 ignore the spreadsheet anyway because at the time they were too busy with horizon. I’m sure some marshalls carried on but even you should understand the marshall programe was a complete failure due to t10 not acting on the information the marshalls provided. I don’t need a marshall to tell me no action was taken most of us that play regularly can see the same ppl trolling the hoppers after a report has been submitted. Compared to when we used to send reports to snowowl and a usually within a day or 2 that person wasnt seen for a while

Don’t waste your time. T10 want everyone playing in the public hoppers. If you want cleaner racing they are pushing you to enter a league/championship/club. If you see an expletive riddled limo with a 50 cal gun turret racing backwards just try to avoid him, that is the Forza way…

IF you can’t race cleanly, don’t race with people you do not know.
If you REALLY find that dirty racers are ruining the game, find some friends to play with, rather than depending on Matchmaking.
While I hate to say that there are simply people that need to win at all costs, or prevent other people from enjoying the game, these types of people exist, and you just literally have to deal with them… in every game.
There is simply no way to police the situation 24/7, nor is there a way to tell someone that they cannot play your game any more, that they paid money to do, simply because your definition of fun, differs from their definition.
There is a minimum of griefers in Forza, and when you do run into one, do what you are supposed to do. AVOID their gamertag, report them for unsporting conduct, and find a new lobby.

There has been a T10 standard in place for years to report wreckers. So there has been an expectation for policing wreckers. T10 would ban them if guilty per those standards. Xbox live has it’s own standards. I’m only addressing what T10 has done in the past.
Hoppers are for Learning to play, it’s normal if you find ppl who arn’t good enough to stop their car before they hit you, yeah, there are also trolls but usually they give up after a couple of races if you are not so stupid to feed them.
I have to admit when i started this game expecially since i only use cockpit camera and i drive with a Wheel i made some errors Too, sometimes ppl understand and sometimes ppl crash-grief you back.
Once i learned to drive decently there (bcs face the truth you’ll never learn how to race just playing with ai) i got the way to avoid crashers being faster than them.
Anyone should play hoppers but trolls but well marshalls are there for this eve if i never asked them help.
I’m 42 yo, i know this game is played by different ages and all should enjoy this game, just pay a bit more patience and you won’t struggle for nothing.

The simple way to deal with wreckers is to disable their car for x amount of seconds at time of malicious impact. Same too with cutting corners; simply disable the car x amount of seconds at point of violation and there you have it! EA uses the same disciplinary action in Real Racing 3 in their multiplayer.
So let me get this straight, you just admitted to take someone out if they cut a corner? What happens if they got pushed off the track and had to cut the corner to avoid causing a pileup? Ya that sounds like awesome logic.
Well, the youtubers applaud the vigilantes. It’s not surprising it carries over, especially as there appears to be no consequences whatsoever. The big trend with a lot of dirty racers isn’t ramming, it’s tapping whoever is in front so they go wide - this happens a lot in the Elite league (and when you see it in Forza RC it makes it seem okay Twitch )
That clip looked more like a racing incident to me, with that many guys so close anything can happen really fast. From the angle of that clip you can’t tell if the guy doing the tapping also got tapped himself or accordion effect. I’m sure Super GT didn’t find it malicious in any way, sure he may have been a little mad at first but stuff happens in racing.
I count up to, four racing incidents!
But to each their own. I think one tap is a racing incident. 4… not so much.
Yea I’m sure that’s why they cut lol. Just yesterday was in a hopper on Sebring Short. Cutter who cut the corner they always do bashed into me because of his cutting. There was no pile up, just me and him in the vicinity. They are professionals at this. Problem is reporting does not work. Kicking does not work cause no one seems to care. It’s a game of whack a mole that only Penalties can solve.

I haven’t reported many because it seems nothing gets done but Forza 5 was rife with it. I played it again recently online and got quickly targeted, still annoying bad users clearly take you out time after time. Usually just after you overtaken them since they suck and they then neglect to brake for the next slow corner.
I hope to hear more about what can be done for Forza 7 and that it isn’t as bad, otherwise I won’t spend much time playing it online.

I heard somewhere on the Internet that those who intentionally wreck will loose time meaning they will loose position. I am not sure how that is going to work. Also on the race results window, the word ‘dirty’ will appear next to the gamertag of those who cut corner in an attempt to discourage people from cheating. We will see.
