I just saw a car with a stock tune but had a custom livery design on it. Can we delete it later and revert it to stock/base livery and change it to a manufacturer color after buying it from the auction? Or we wont be able to change or delete it?
in the menus whilst in a house or festival garage, go to designs and paint the car. it will give you a message saying that you cannot edit the design and do you want to revert it to stock
click yes and it will delete the design and take you into the paint editor
There’s a button (key prompt) at the bottom of the painting area in the garage that reverts cars back to the factory colour they were purchased in. There’s no need to go into the editor.
Sidenote: If you get a car from the auction house which wasn’t painted in the default (first) colour (set) by the first owner it won’t cost you a save slot as it would normally do if you change the colour of a car that you’ve purchased at the autoshow or got otherwise.
