Come on forza release the game early its finished im absolutely buzzing for the game!!

I believe that Turn 10/Playground still needs to put the final touches to the game (fixing any final bugs and start marketing the game).
Two weeks worth a wait is long enough for me. Also, a demo is coming tomorrow (it you’re an Xbox One owner).
The game will have gone gold looooong ago. Any ‘final touches’ will appear in a patch. They need to get these copies to retailers!

We have a Demo coming tomorrow, so that’ll have to do for the mean time. You can wait 2 weeks for its full release 
According to one post on another site, it already popped up in the Xbox One store at 35.84 GB as coming soon. Forza horizon 2 went gold possibly? pops up in store - Imgur

And I agree that it has gone gold a while ago. Usually T10 makes an announcement as such, or even releases a special livery for the occasion.
Have patience. I’m sure the retail discs are being manufactured and packaged as we post. It will be out in 14 more days. I’m sure the demo will be available for is X1 users within a few more hours. If that doesn’t tide you over, then maybe you should try hibernating for the next two weeks. (I know, it’s an impractical option if you have work or school…)
