Received Thank You messages for car gifts, but no Kudos? It that normal?

I’ve seen many people getting kudos after gifting out cars. Does selecting the Thank You messages when the recipient is receiving the car means a they are sending me a kudo?

I’ve sent out 3 or 4 cars, got 3 thank you messages but 0 kudo.

Idk if kudos work I keep getting messages saying I’m getting kudos for my tunes but it still says I have 0 kudos.

What even is a kudo?

I can’t say that I have seen anything consistent with them and anything else that happens such as the likes or thank yous or helping someone in free roam. It’s still a black box for me.

I think you need to redeem your Kudos in Message Center. They don’t get added in automatically. Not sure why.

I don’t see any kudo messages and clicking on the thank you messages does nothing for me :frowning:

Well, for liveries, you will get a message in Daily Payouts detaining the downloads, uses and likes. You get one Kudo per like, but you need to redeem them by pressing Enter (on PC, not sure what gamepad equivalent is, on the message.

I think I’ve only had the thanks messages, no Kudos for the gifts. I’ll check when I send the next gift.

I get Kudos for tunes, paint, challenges etc fine though.

It’s because you weren’t thanked. Someone sends me on a wild goose chase for a crap car they aren’t getting thanked.

Thanks. I did think that a while ago but my memory is that it was arranged such that being picked up was all that was needed. I could be wrong but don’t believe I am. I’ll keep an eye on it. Pretty sure I’m getting Kudos when I’m not in the game, it’s just when I’m in an event that prevents the gift Kudos being added.

I have 24 Kudos ig and most are from car gifts I guess (most of my car gifts are duplicate cars from wheelspins XD)

Today I got a gift notification. I was in a Impala SS that I used for the Marathon SC so I drove over to see the gift. Turns out it was another Impala SS. I think it’s the first time I received the same car I was in though I don’t hang about in the Taycan. I sent a kudo.
