Rear ended without being in a race!

I was sitting at Nürburgring GP, thinking about racing, but talking on the phone…

The car behind me drove out to go tot he track, and the car behind that one came flying up and rear ended my ride! My driveatar was standing next to it the entire time, and didn’t even flinch! I’m serious impressed with her keeping calm, but I keep wondering if that white car came up a second earlier and rear ended the blue car behind me. It could have spun it around, causing it to hit my driveatar!

That’s the AI in this game alright lol

Also you captured my favourite drivatar animation in this. The one where the drivatar obviously let rip, smelt it and waves their hands to try and disperse it

LoL, that is some funny stuff.

I have pics in FM6 of one car sitting on top of another in pit lane, but never have seen one rear end my car like that.

HAHA wow, I guess there are misadventures in the pre race areas. I had a car drive up right close to my driver like it was picking him up and then just strolled in the opposite direction of where all the other cars go, just coasting away. Fun stuff heh. Gonna have to pay closer attention to the goings on now. There might not be an animated pit crew but there is “Story before the race”

Had a similar problems but it is more when you change cars in the pre-race screens, one time my car was hanging on just 1 wheel in the air.Glorious

You must have had the difficulty set to new racer. There’s just no way that guy was an unbeatable driver.

Also… This is why you don’t let rich guy bring his fancy new car to track day.

There have been two other instances where it “almost” happened. The SAME care was right on my ass when I hit a menu button, and the animation stopped, but I saw he was about to hit him.

Once, I had an X-class car drive RIGHT THROUGH ME as if I wasn’t there, but I didn’t get that saved.

I’m POSITIVE it’s part of the animation, but they need to add a reaction to her…
