Full race weekend - a real full race weekend that takes a actual weekend. Club race host sets up a weekend race event. Lists the drivers competing before hand, time and date and duration. I want to host a race weekend. I choose the drivers from my friends list. (so that only they can join) I choose the track, time, date of the event and the weather. So on day one (free practice) all drivers can log in when they log in track is open and they can come and go as they please except the host. Day 2 (qualifying) track opens for qualifying and the drivers can come and go as they please expect the host. Their qualifying positions are saved and the ones that didn’t make it start in the pits. Day 3 (race day) the grid is setup automatically and race starts on set time. The ones that didn’t make it on time 10min before race, start from the pit. Even if they come 5 laps in, they start from the pits.

This is a multiplayer thread, but I’d like to see this rule implemented in all race modes.

First, qualifying takes place. The starting grid for the race will be determined based on the results of the qualifying round.

I just want to make the method of deciding the order of the starting grid realistic.

Users who find qualifying troublesome in career mode can skip it, but they will always start from the bottom. However, it might be a good idea to allow players to pay in-game money to buy grid positions.

In the current version, users can decide the starting grid, so my proposal that skipping the qualifying round will result in the lowest qualifying position seems degenerate at first glance. However, there is no race category in the world where the user can arbitrarily decide the position of the starting grid.

Idk why this wasn’t implemented a long time ago. And now that we have spectate mode even better.

I haven’t watched nascar for years so forgive me if I say something out dated :rofl:.
Like have open practice Friday until qualifying starts, bush cars qualify Friday at noon? Cup cars qualify at 2? Bush cars race on Saturday at 12, cup cars race on Sunday at 12.
Now if they could host an event with mass racers and spectators wo the glitchy recent Netflix event we had to witness w two boxers. This could turn out to be pretty cool.

Want to setup another feed and host it on tv, us car guys would love something to watch since they are going to cancel some tv shows that has to deal w cars and mike finnegan and his coworkers, or have a subscription service ? Just spitting out ideas here. Anything to keep this game afloat w endless support. Fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:
