As lots of us were plagued by notorious crashers on the LeMans endurance hopper from last weekend, i thought it might be a good idea to join these MP rooms as a party for the upcoming Nurburg Ring Endurance Race. I’d expect the matchmaking system to create a new room if the existing lobbies haven’t got enough spots to take the whole party. This should shorten the waiting time for a new race significantly, and lower the possibility that crashers are going to be in the same room.
However, i’ve never done that before and i have no clue if it really works as expected. Does anyone here have any experience with this approach and knows if the matchmaking system guarantees that ALL party members are going to be put into the same lobby?
If thats the case then lets gather some interested people first, then agree on a time (we could have different parties for different times during the weekend) and then join the MP hopper as a whole.

Good luck myself and 2 other friends tried to get into the 2.4 hours of la mans and it was nothing but a pain in the a**. There is no ways to do a party match search and most of the time when u get into a lobby there’s still over and hour left. I wish u the best of luck.
Can we not just gain interest on here and create a private race with our own rules?

Also to answer the OP the other night i had a party of 3. 2 of us got the last 2 spots in a lobby and the 3rd person had to wait for someone to leave.
I’m in for at least trying. Not sure about times I would be up for yet.
I did it solo last weekend but after about 15 joins and back outs I finally found a race that only had 30 minutes left so thankfully I didn’t have to wait TOOOOO long to race. I’m surprised they don’t start new races/lobby’s more often for that challenge. I seen so many lobby’s with 2-4 people at a time just sitting and waiting. What a waste.
If I had seen this earlier I would’ve joined you guys bu I just completed the event earlier today. Took me about 10 tries to find a lobby that hadn’t JUST started. only had to wait about 45 minutes which is too bad compared to what I could’ve had to wait. I just watched Twitch streams while I waited. Good luck to everyone who attempts the event!
We managed to get 5 in the same lobby last night. One person found an empty or nearly empty lobby. Then we just joined my friends game from the friends list. We had to wait a while but was well worth it in the end. Luckily the rest of the people in the lobby seamed to want to race clean and any coming together were accidental.

I got lucky with a solo search. I got in when it was preparing to start the next race. That’s right I had around 30 seconds waiting time.
Also got lucky with a clean, considerate lobby. There are some good, clean racers out there.
