[Real life & fantasy] T1NM4N NL's - Unimog | Urus | Morgan Aero GT

Hello fellow gamers! In this topic I want to show you some of my work that I have created in FH3 (and imported in FH4) or FH4 original work from my hand. Hopefully a few of you like them enought to look me up into the game, download and use my livery jobs!

The list of available paint jobs in my account;

Lancia Delta S4

Lancia Delta S4 “Group B Rally Team”

I will have to change the Lancia logo from the default logo to a custom build period correct logo. After that this livery is 100% done, the original has more sponsor names over the entire car however I find this more pleasing as it is.

Two annoying things I ran into creating the Delta S4 Martini car;

hood/front bumper

When creating the stripes on the hood. If I wanted to match the stripes with the edges of the hood, the stripes are also showing on the bottom of the bumper itself. Anyone has an idea how to get around this?

The same for the mudflaps on the back. You can see the stripes on the mudflaps. I have tried applying a red square on the mudflap, but if I wanted to make an entire red mudflap I have a red mark on the side of the car as well.

Mudflap/side issue

Has anyone ran into these two as wel and found a solution for it?

Can’t say I’ve painted the S4 yet but that being said your paints are looking nice but could seriously benefit with more custom logos as the stock font can really distract from what could otherwise be an amazing livery. Good start so far, I hope you figure out the S4 and I look forward to seeing more from you.

Do you mean create and use more recreated logo’s like the Martini logo and Michelin? Or create the letters for the fonts from scratch in stead of the stock fonts? Anyway thank you for your feedback!

I mean like letters from scratch. Will really improve your designs. Either way the Michelin man and the ring taxi in general are well done. I see you made a semi-custom Michelin font so that is a start. Keep up the good work!

Just popped into my head yesterday. Design is done using the 1/18 scale model I have and pictures from the internet. That michelin man in the Michelin logo was a real pain in the *ss to recreate!

Do you like it, please download and use it in game :wink: Any feedback/tips or tricks are welcome!

Below is a picture of the real Ring-Taxi for those not familiar with it.

Bugatti Veyron SuperSport (Black/Yellow contrast)
Fantasy paint which is based on a real life Black/Yellow Veyron (alltought this is the original not the SS). I actually like the original more than my design, maybe I should paint the car normal black instead matte carbon fibre.

Cleanly done, nice street livery on the Bugatti

Thanks! I painted the car normal black instead of the matte and it looks better in my eyes.

VW Beetle “Herbie”

Because of the weekly challenge I started using the Volkswagen Beetle and got a flashback to my youth when I was watching Herbie. So this morning I started to recreate Herbie, also I got the idea of making it in a “barn find” with rust and damages. Looked into a couple of tutorials on Youtube to get the hang of it and in my eyes it looks really great. Only point I’m not happy with is the wheels. I might get some after market rims in a darker tone but actually I would like to put livery on the wheels to recreate the rust look on the rims as well.

Good job with both versions of Herbie. Nice work on the custom numbers too, it’s definitely a major step in the right direction. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Really proud of the first rust paint job.

I can’t believe you can tell that just by looking at these numbers! But I customized the numbers indeed like you told me, the stock numbers didn’t match with the Herbie pictures I found online. I created the logo at first with the standard numbers, after that I pasted white vinyl on the numbers to create the shape like it should.

Is this how you create these custom fonts for your livery as well or are you creating them from scratch with the different shapes provided?

I create them from scratch as that is easier when you start to have rather bulky logos. The Herbie 53 is a good place to start because it’s simple but when your dealing with specialized cursive logos or similar things to that the stock font won’t cut it in generally any way. That being said there are some logos or liveries where I will use letters of stock font like a couple of letters and modify them or use them to bolster a font. You can do either way but for the more complex stuff it’s easier to start from scratch.

As far as being able to tell, well they haven’t changed the stock fonts much over the years and I’ve been painting since the tail end of FM3’s lifecycle so I know custom fonts when I see them!

1964 Chevrolet Impala SS “Lowrider”

All my friends know the low rider
The low rider is a little higher
The low rider drives a little slower
Low rider, is a real goer

This inmediatly stuck in my head when I got the Impala on a wheelspin. Nothing else for me to do to create a nice Lowrider. At first I wanted to create a purple car with a gold stripe and gold multispoke rims. Unfortunatly I came to the conclusion that the rims I wanted aren't available and the stickers can't be created with a special color (and thus could not be created in the gold color).

So that color scheme out the window and created this. Race suspension for the lowered style, big engine on the front, also bigger rims on the front. Only thing that I noticed during the photoshoot that I placed the wheels as far as possible to the edges of the car but in combination with the ride hight when you steer they come out of the body work.

It’s a shame about the wheel clipping issues when you lower some of these old muscle cars. Been noticing that with my RTR-X lately. Anyways, loving the Impala. Looks like it’s outta a copy of LowRider. The purple and yellow is very gangsta and I like where you’ve chosen to put the purple detail. Hope to see more soon, your coming along real well.

Alfa Romeo Stelvio “Mito sticker”
I was pleased to see the Alfa Romeo Stelvio being released with the car pass. I’m a big fan of Alfa’s, my first car was one. My girlfriend has had 2 since we have met and her dad had 4 Alfa’s in this same time :smiley: Currently her dad drives a “Rosso Competizione” Stelvio, my girlfriend drives a Mito. I have “combined” these cars. I took the color of the Stelvio and the sticker we have on the Mito.
I once saw a Stelvio Q demo model with this sticker, this was the “inspiration” of this creation.

Lamborghini Aventador SV “Alitalia”
I wanted to recreate this one for a while. A dutch “team” used this car for a rally as a tribute to Italian Rally history. I inmediatly loved the livery on this one and wanted to recreate it. Tonight I started it but to be honest I liked it better when it was half done, without all the “sponsor” Maybe later I will fill in the white space with the sponsor details but for now I like it better this way. Now waiting for the next big update and hopefully paint the entire rim gold!

Here is a photoshoot a friend of mine released today of the real car;

The Alfa Romeo design is quite nice, very clean looks like a factory auto show demo so saying you saw a demo car in that livery makes sense. I like it.

The Lamborghini is cool, funky concept and it sports Alitalia well. Your friend took some amazing photos, just appears your missing a couple logos. I know you got the ability to complete them, especially with how well the Alfa crest came out.

Well I did some of the logo’s allready but when I put them on the car I found it to look better as a clean skin without all these logo’s around. Maybe I will add them again in the future and show it here to get your opinion about it :wink:

I did allready reworked the Pirelli logo with custom fonts so I could update the Subaru Impreza as well!

I’m really liking that Martini Lancia, also good job with the Subaru as well, not to mention the Alitalia Lambo. Awesome pieces! Keep the designs coming!
