I wonder why there are no proper checkpoint races in Forza Horizon? I get why they have regular untimed checkpoints like we have now, otherwise they would have to lock down the whole track to keep people from cutting off the whole track. But a new, proper checkpoint race where you start the race with let’s say 30 seconds and you get +10 sec. at the next checkpoint is always a lot of fun. At some point you really have to rush to make it to the next checkpoints which is really exciting and challenging.
I think Horizon is the perfect game for this mode, especially with traffic involved, or cross-country.
