I have not been on the forums since before the update and FM5 launched. Just thought I’d post up some photos of my work, put a few up on the storefront and hopefully get into painting again when I get time. I’m looking to get FM5 in the next couple of months, I’m excited about the layer increase as I like to paint engine bays and always hit the layer limit in FM4. I can’t wait to redo them and add more detail in FM5.
Anyways, I hope you enjoy the photos.
Holy crap! There’s been a long time since I saw work like this! Amazing work on the body kits and the engine bays! You have really found your niche and you’re the best at it!
That’s what I want to hear. I’m gonna have to download them all and have a spin around MT. Fuji. I especially love the Supra with the engine bay and the wide curving vents on the R34 are incredible. I can’t wait until you get FM5 and I can race these cars on there. Keep up the great work.
Wide body kits and engine bays are way outside of my current skill level…and the cars you have here are spectacular looking. I’m definitely going to have to swing by your storefront and grab a few of them.
Thanks Ace and D Shiznit.
I actually struggle with logo replicating and design more than the engine bay work for some reason. That’s why all my paints are clean. Not because I don’t want logos over the car, I am just too lazy to create the logos haha.
I have always wanted to paint a visible twin turbo kit on a mid or rear engine car. I tried this on an Audi R8 , which was actually my first attempt ever at the engine bay type painting and never liked the results.
So I started this RUF today. Not a bad start, just need to chuck in an engine and start the wide body.
I have been very busy but this weekend I am going to download all of the ones that I haven’t yet and rate 5 stars, that RUF is looking totally awesome mate. Keep up the great work.
Started on the widebody today. Also made it a soft top.
Still plenty of work to do. Not sure on the colour either. The widebody is not really working well with it.
