During a race every single one of my cars suddenly just cuts out despite accelerating. The rev gauge blips and the car stutters and slows and the brake lights are lit even though I am not braking.
This is becoming very frustrating now and making the game much harder, has anyone else experienced this? Or even better know how to stop it?

Have you tried adjusting the dead zone for your brakes in the advanced controller options? If your controller is worn out, the left trigger might not spring out all the way when you let go of it. You can adjust the dead zone so you have to press it in farther for it to activate.
Turn off assisted breaking.
Check your assists. If you have braking set to Assisted, that’s probably why. In that case, change it to ABS On or ABS Off, and that will turn off automatic braking.
Would TCS and STM do this on high powered cars?
I haven’t run either in any Forza, ever, so I don’t really know, but it sounds like it to me, based on RL experiences.
