To be honest, I’m sure there are a few that get sick of becoming someone else’s bump stop in corners, shoved off for the 100th time during a race and just decide it’s not worth the frustration.
That’s a weak excuse. The reson people rage-quit is because they think the world is their privilege alone and if they can’t make the top 5 in a race, somehow the race must be “broken”.
Or maybe it’s just the game unstable on any platform
In your opinion. You can’t possibly know everything that is going on in anyone else’s head, or at their residence. Yes, there are people that will quit out of rage, but it’s not as many as you claim.
Rage quitting does affect people, If every race is started, started with 20 people and last always quit i would always be last because I don’t quit.
Exactly, but rage-quitters are told by their parents that they are always a winner, so p11 is out of the question for them.

Had several races finish with 22 players in the lobby today. Things CAN get better!
I would agree with some kind of penalties to players rage quitting if the game was stable and it was some kind of ranked match or championship. Overall regular multiplayer doesn’t need to force players to stay if they’re unhappy.
Well that’s a thing that also annoys me in TH5. The game tells you to change the difficulty if you are not getting first place in every race. If I can finish top ten in an online race in FM I get very happy. I wish assists didn’t give people such crazy advantages though, or that we had a lobby where only ABS and TCS was allowed. If I remember correctly, FM3 had that.
I would be ok with that. I only run with ABS, TCS, and race line when I play online. I don’t follow the line but it helps me find my brake points during practice while messing with a car Im not familiar with, and at race time, I know where half the racers are going to be driving, and it shows who is on auto drive
Assists have never given advantage (other than TCS in some situations with some crazy snappy cars) in Forza. If you can drive (I mean DRIVE) a car without assists, then switching on any of the assists will make you slower.
Braking lines is OP
Considering the fact that it’s faster to not follow the braking line, that’s a pretty goofy assertion.

There is no point in even having the debate. Run 3 laps with the car in AFK mode, then run 3 laps with you on the controls. If you know how to drive the car and track you will be faster EVERYTIME. The marked lines play it safe and slow down way too soon, way to fast, to use the games default understeer settings. The computer AFK driving of my cars is all over the place and I have to babysit
When you can explain to me how, PRECISELY, you will determine who has quit, and who got their rig shut off by their cat hitting the power button, who had a power cut, or a parent who doesn’t understand that you can’t pause online games, and I’ll agree with you.
