“Crypt Hive Warrior” is part race, part game. If you play against the Drivatar, there are a couple ways to win. The Drivatars don’t grasp the whole points thing. Enjoy the detailed scenery. But if you challenge another player, then you’d be wise to employ some strategy.
The map takes players through a series of creepy places in search of vampire cacti (okay, they’re just piñatas). Players add a point to their score for each of these creatures they smash. After two laps, crossing the finish line provides the first-place finisher a five-point boost and triggers an endgame timer. The event ends for everyone after a 10 second delay. Players can continue to accumulate points during the endgame period. Be warned. You won’t find any vampire cacti near the finish line, so make your decision to end the race carefully.
Are you confident enough in your points lead to finish the race? Or will the other player find enough cacti in the last few seconds of the game to surpass your total score?
