I’ve been looking for a good answer for some time now and haven’t come up with anything so here goes:
I made a design (or a few actually) in the game and I made the mistake of promising my little brother that I would give them to him. Well without further thinking I tried to copy the design to a USB device and then just pasting it to his XBox under the Forza 4 files etc, one might think that’s how it works, but apparently it doesn’t. So now I started looking into it and yes, there’s some stupid lock on designs to the profile that was used when making the design.
Now my question is, is there any way of transferring or copying designs from one profile to another? And preferably without the need of a Gold account. And without the need of some weird decrypting stuff and so on.
Sorry if this has come up already, and I’m sure it has, but I just couldn’t find a solution anywhere.
Pretty sure you can only gift designs with a gold account. You cannot copy them from one profile to another. I’m surprised that didn’t set off the anti-cheat mechanism.
That’s what they call “modification” and you should perhaps be glad it didn’t work - it would have earned you and/or your brother a nice 20 odd year ban for which I doubt T10 would have accepted an ignorance excuse. And sorry to say mate, but it would have been rightly so. Mako and Kouki already gave you your only options.
