Hey are the PC and Xbox saves separate or will my PC save carry over to the Xbox through the cloud?

As long as you are using the same gamertag, then your save will carry over between the 2, yes. However, if you have a Series X, avoid using Quick resume if you swap between PC and Xbox as it can cause issues…as QR will take you back to when you last played on Xbox meaning any PC progress in-between may be lost

Depends on what you mean by PC. From the MS Store, yes they will sync; from Steam, no they will not.
As long as you don’t use the steam version on PC
Beware syncing between the PC Xbox app and Xbox can result in sync issues and loss of progress. Search these forums for sync issues to learn ways to reduce the likelihood of encountering these issues as they have been discussed many times in the past.
I’m on Series X. The game runs perfectly with very few bugs. However I regularly experience an issue with syncimg when starting the game up (I never use quick resume btw) again.
Often, not always, it will start syncing but then stop with two boxes side by side one saying local save and the other cloud save. Although they look the same, I now always choose local save after losing progress by choosing the cloud save option. This does not seem right, I’d have thought the cloud save in these two options would be most up to date but it definitely is not at least not in my experience. I have all the FH titles and this only happens with FH5.
Anyone else have this problem and is there a fix?
It would much better if saves on series X used a small checksum rather than whatever trash they currently use.
Also is there any way to turn quick resume off? Every time I start up the game it automatically starts it again.
