Puny/small/tiny car volume: this is a cruel joke, right?

As the title suggests; why do cars in Forza 7 sound like they are STILLcoming out of small TV speakers? Will it take several GBs of update for you to fix this? Still scratching your heads over what’s wrong??? Jeeez…

Will the game EVER use surround channels properly for car sound? How can you expect people to enjoy the game with not only inaccurate car sounds which haven’t been corrected as you said - you corrected sounds that nobody asked fixes for; the ones that have been documented over and OVER again are still wrong.

When are you going to do something about the volume? Should I go ahead and throw my midrange speakers and woofer out the window? Just say the word.

Unbelievable!

I wish I hadn’t pre-ordered and as a general rule, I will never be pre-ordering your games, let alone invest in them in future. Thanks for nothing “we listen to the community” T10.

Edit: Can somebody from the development team tell me why everything gets louder and bassier in the sound field when increasing volume, but the cars remain at 40% volume or something?

I have my amp cranked up to 80% volume, and the rumble strips, hovering chopper, confetti, overhead objects whooshing by is creating enough bass to shake up the doors/windows, but the cars do not get louder/bassier, only more high pitched. Why is the mix not being applied to cars? Where’s the same loudness and bass in car sounds? I do mostly hotlapping.

My settings:

master volume: MAX
opponent’s car: 80%
tires: 60%
track effects: 60%
UI: 30%

Uncompressed - Bitstream Out - DTS. I have experimented with every other setting in the cosole; all the other sounds get loud as a volcano, but car sounds are mute and puny. Did somebody at T10 do this on purpose? Maybe not such a crazy thought…
