PSA: All brake balances are currently reversed, and have been for a very long time

As the title says. Set your balance to 100% rear, and the front locks up. 100% front, rear locks up.

I was just told that this has been an issue for quite a while. Going back to previous games too. How has this not been fixed? :confused:

Verified in 1.410.986.2.

Setting the ā€œBrake Balanceā€,

  • to: 0 (100%), locks the rear (as opposed to the UI description);
  • to: 1 (0%), locks the front (ditto).

ā€¦Probably because most generic tunes do not set the ā€œBrake Balanceā€ to anything other than 0.5.

If the problem has been there for very longā€¦ probably the best fix is to reverse the UI description.
