Hey guys same issue it will work when you leave multiplayer and get back into it keep doing that till it finds a server
hey, know this is an old post, but to those who are recenetly purchasing the game you may need to portforward the xbox live servers within your router, i just did this and multiplayer is now working. just google XBL port forward and xbox support page should pop up as number 1 search. just follow their guides and it should get you racing in no time. hope this helps.

OK guys, I’ve had the problem of no multiplayer a few times.
Here’s how I have fixed it.
From the main xbox page highlight Forza 6. Press the start button. (The one with 3 lines on), select Manage game, then in the saved data section go to your gamertag and press A. Now select delete from console.
Now start Forza 6 again. BE AWARE!!! IT’S GOING TO TAKE BETWEEN 10 MINUTES AND AN HOUR TO SYNC YOUR DATA BACK TO YOUR CONSOLE FROM THE CLOUD! Depending on connection.

Tried the above deletion of gamertag profile and no luck. My NAT is OPEN I get 0% Packet Loss ~80ms Ping and 80DL/20UL Mbps speeds. All of yesterday afternoon/night and now today again Multiplayer is down. Its been an on/off relationship with me and this Multiplayer option but now this is ridiculous. I’m a Sys Admin and work with clients with no where close to 500k+ members. If we had any of our services down for this amount of time I’d have to be at the office till it was resolved and it would be a career ender for those responsible. Looks like I need to send an application to Turn10 never heard of Sys Admin/Network Admins who get weekends off when their network/services are down.
I was on there last night and it was fine, 8AM this morning and it’s not working. Now 3:30 PM and still “Multiplayer is not available, please try later”
I’m in the UK, is this the same for anyone else? PLEASE!!!

I too am from the UK. I cannot access the multiplayer hoppers or the league hoppers, rivals seems to be working though.
Such a bad day for the servers to go down…
I wonder if T10 are aware of a problem?
I ask this because the servers seem to have been ‘down’ for many hours without any official response.
I really was looking foward to some GT league action alongside 6 cans of Carlings finest!!! ; )
