Another gripe I’ve had with FH5 is trying to select a car for the race - WHY isn’t your current car the default selection? On some races it is, on others, you have to weed through the “Recommended” cars first (Right bumper skips that garbage at least) – it’d be tolerable, perhaps, if ALL races were set up the same way, but muscle-memory and blind habit have dropped me into the wrong car way more times than I care to admit. Especially on things like the Trial, when you NEED the right car and tune, and you spend an eternity setting it up, only to get dropped into some default garbage by pressing the “Hurry the F Up” button too fast. Then you gotta wait another five minutes to try again.
It could just be me, but it seems a LOT more disorienting to have the highlighted tile way over on the far left of the screen - does anyone else think it should be more centered on the screen? At least a better job of highlighting the selected tile, my dyslexic arse can barely see the outline on it… Brighter surround, bigger tile, ~something~ to make it stand out. That could just be me, I’ll admit.
It’d sure be helpful to have some additional tuning information displayed about the car, is it stock, downloaded tune, my own tune, garbage tune, etc. (Being able to add notes about each car, would be handy – oversteer, understeer, sloppy pig, shredding beast, etc)
