I like how the retailer specific bonus cars are only special liveries. That way the retailers can still offer the incentives, but we don’t miss out on certain cars by not buying 5 copies from different stores. If you guys remember, the 370Z was unavailable to most of us in the first Horizon due to retailer exclusivity.
I’m getting the bundle that includes the VIP and car pass. I’ll buy the disc version later for collecting.
If the pre-order bonus cars are retailer specific I see retailers fighting over who gets the Hellcat.
I think it is lame that Tier 8 requires every possible Forze Rewards point and many of the points were only achieved through buying car tokens. I have 80 million credits and every car in FM5. Why would I buy car tokens? Lame that car tokens keep me from being tier 8 and getting the last bonus car.
Just buy the car in game. Tier rewards arent a big deal and tier rating is a fairly pointless stat. If you’re crazy enough to buy tokens at least you’re getting a nice little bonus.
Forgive me if this has already been answered but has there been any update on the physical versions? I have my copy pre-ordered from Gamestop and according to the manager it looks to him they will only have one version of the game being the standard edition and will sell upgrade codes. for the Deluxe and Ultimate editions. He’s a fan of racing games so I went through him with this on Project Cars which was handled in a similar fashion. He did say it’s not unusual for a game to have just one version initially available for pre-order only to change to multiple versions as release date gets closer but he said with a little more than 2 months until release he has never seen that change happen this close to release. I cannot handle a digital version of the game due to craptacular internet so I want to ensure I’m getting the best version of the game possible even if that means having to pay for the game twice and use the disc version to install the game.
