Can you guys make it possible to pre-order the game on the xbox, and get the game there? because i’m not interested in buying it on disc.
Would be pretty awesome because i really want to pre-order.

I do not know about Microsoft, but I do know that Gamestop (in the U.S.) offers pre-orders for both a Disc copy and a Download copy that, according to their website, will be available to download on release day at 9:00 AM.

Will players get the exclusive pre order bonuses like we get on retail?
Retailer exclusives are exclusive to retailers, so no.
It just seems so strange to me that there are pre-order bonuses if you go to other retailers to purchase the game, but if you pre-order straight from your xbox for digital download you don’t get anything (that we know of)… Plus, if you pre-order the actual disc from the MS store you get a $10 gift card. They’re not doing a very good job with trying to get people to go with the digital format. I might be completely wrong when we actually see it for pre-order through the dashboard, guess we’ll find out soon enough

It was supposed to be able to be pre-ordered digitally, one of the 1st ones but so far it hasn’t happened and when I asked support I got the standard, not are problem, developer controls that. Just like digital prices being more then retail disc, that’s the publishers issue, not MS.
I wanted to buy the Digital pre-order copy myself, but I said forget it today after that message from support and just went to Gamestop and pre-ordered the disc. Didn’t have that problem pre-ordering my Destiny on the PS4, just clicked, paid, and done. Even Steam on the PC is that easy.
I have noticed that publishers are fighting the digital format, which is lame since its harder to trade in (impossible the way things currently are) but they fight it. The games cost them less to make that way (no packaging, shipping, 3rd party, etc,), and harder for pirated copied to get out from the changing of hands for pressing. But there are a few publishers that have weird double standards when it comes to things. For instance one publisher wont put games out on Steam because they take some of the money, but yet they release console and phone games where they take a cut.
Its time the publishers wake up and charge much less for digital games then disc based. People would have more money to spend on games that way too and possibly would buy more.
There has been no news since they announced this feature at Gamescon. FH2 comes out soon, you would think we would know more by now. I want to get the game digitally but I also don’t want to miss out on the preorder Ferrari or the Day One edition. Has anyone heard anything about this?
You’ll be able to get the Day One edition digitally.
Isn’t Madden 15 digital pre-order available too? Sure i got a notification about that last week. If that’s working, then i’m sure FH2 will when the time comes.
Yes, it is the first pre-order game on xbox live. Horizon 2 ts not avaible yet because we are a month away from its release date. If Forza follows the Madden footsteps we will have the chance to pre-order from xbox live a week or so before the release date.

Its was supposed to be one of the 1st ones that MS did it with, but failed to. It should be coming soon or is now as Destiny was just done that way. But I bought mine on the competitor system because they already offered that. FH2 is only available on XB otherwise I would have ordered on PC.
Anybody got an idea when we can expect digital pre-order of this title? I have money in my account to burn, thanks Microsoft for expiring my money, before sept 11th, and nothing else to buy than FH2.
