I have the same issue…completed the race and did not get the achievement or badge…perhaps its an issue connected to the demo…so full owners of forza 5 get this issue?
(Perhaps we should tell which version of forza we got)
I got Forza 5 Limited Edition (Day One)
I have tweeted them, time will tell, its odd though I just did a 2.27 no achievement lol (I also have the normal version of forza, not day one)
Did the race 3 times. Last 2 times checked xbox live status with it showing no problems except with the PBS app. Social and gaming was just fine. Kinda bummed. I work weekends, so if I don’t do it Friday, I might not be able to get back to it. Hopefully Sunday morning after work or Monday after work I’ll have enough energy to try again. But they are 12 hour shifts, so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Same here just finished 150+ miles with knowing there were issues. Not too worried, they’ll get it resolved and it’s recorded that we ran the event on the servers.
I’ve also not been able to get either of these badges/titles/achievements, never had any issue unlocking any before now except the badge/title for 150 career events with drivatars on unbeatable. Don’t know if anybody has unlocked that one…
I honestly think that this issue has to be tied with a lack of an update.
I’d assume that if the badge and title aren’t put into the game via an actual update, then they won’t ever pop.
I also noticed on Johniwanna’s live stream when he completed the challenge for Prague, he didn’t get the badge either.
I also know Mechberg has beaten the Bounty challenge so hopefully he’s noticed that it didn’t pop for him too.

I did not get the badge neither.
I did check the status of MS XBOX servers, and all was reported OK.
Some people are mentioning the need for an update of the game before the challenges.

I am awfully sorry to see that T10 is consistent and sticking with poor product quality.
I have a Quality Department in my company, and they would get a flipping b.l.o.k.n. if they did such a bad job.
I still managed to enjoy my race with a couple of actual players, although there were the usual brain-dead garbage humanoid in the lobby too.
Why is everyone talking about achievements not popping up?
It’s only a badge + title you supposed to get for this event (I’ve got none either, while I did 2 in a row yesterday with at least 130 miles).
Or are all achievements blocked at this moment for fm5?
Yeah, this error is different. In the past it would show unlocked or 100% completed like you said. Right now it shows as locked or 0% completed. Someone forgot to hit a button before they left work on Friday.

Xbox live has an operational rate greater than 99%. It goes down/has a glitch and everyone starts persecuting the system. This place is great for a few laughs.
servers are down now. Might be to fix the issue at hand or just turn 10 sever unreliability again.
I ran both and didn’t get either but it’s no big deal. It will either unlock by itself, which is likely, or they will extend the Prague race with apologies so everyone would have another chance to do it.
Whenever there is an error or mistake in the game they work it out. No worries.
And to whoever asked them to stop challenges; that is ridiculous…you don’t have to do them but a lot of us love them and it keeps others coming back to the game. I check all the time just for the new challenges and look forward to all of them.

Is there any way to change your car class for the race? I got stuck in early gt class, and I have zero interest in running any of those cars for an hour and a half.
It’s randomly generated before the race starts. Sorry, but no. You could try another lobby until you get the car you want. It will scramble the car class when you vote on the next track.
Maybe a little bit off topic, but if there are problems with Forza I occassionally play a game called “real life”. Today I unlocked the “Vintage Car Club Meet” batch and title.
And I also unlocked the “10000 km” achievement today.
But enough of real life for today. I’ll give the Prague challenge a try later on… just for fun.

had problems with the badge for winning a gold medal in a 77 firebird, should have popped before xmas. it finally showed up a few weeks back! lol so hopefully they will sort it 
bit miffed though as I wanted to do the prague achievement, but with servers down i’m stumped! lol hopefully they will keep it open for a few more days so anyone who missed out can get it.
The Bandit badge? That actually requires you to use the '73 model. It’s a mistake in the name.
That’s the one! lol I don’t think I have used a 73 firebird… but it popped so not worried about it!
