Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 - An Interesting (and Funny) Bug

So after winning my lovely 997, I decided to upgrade it and take it for a spin. Upon returning to the festival site, I was greeted with my 997 doing a bumper endo into the garage…

This prompted me to do an in-depth experiment into finding out exactly what caused this. I knew for a fact that the stock version of the car does not do this crazy endo, so it must have been some of the upgrades causing it.

After an hour or so fiddling around, I found a specific set of conditions that will guarantee this to happen. To get your 997 to do this endo, the following must be true:

  • Install both AWD and Twin Turbo conversions
  • Install the Street Intercooler upgrade
  • Install Race Weight Reduction
  • Enter the Outback Festival Site (Level 5)

I can confirm that if any of the above is false, the endo will not occur. Enjoy!

Edit: Only the Street Intercooler works with this particular setup.

Yep, exactly how i set mine up after winning it, the endo is hillarious, should receive a skill point for that one :slight_smile:

Even funnier than when the car thrashes around like a fish out of water in the vinyl editor…and people usually only mention floating cars - this kills it.

It’s not the only car. I saw a GT40 mk2 and a Noble doing that, too.

This car has dashboard glitch too.
Digital diplay is broken.

Just want to say thank you for posting this bug up. I had no idea that Porsche was THAT talented! Brilliant bug and made me laugh whole heartedly. Have posted a video of my 997 doing the same thing on my feed :smiley:
