The model from FM7 still holds up, i feel like this would be such an easy and amazing edition to the game, we have the 4th gen mustang why not the 4th gen camaro and firebird?
I personally own a 99’ trans am and i flippin love this car.

The firebird/trans-am never came with a 6.3L Gm had never made a 6.3. They came with the small block 350, or the 5.7L v8 that was produces from 1967-2002

1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 30th Anniversary Edition Coupe (for FH5)

2002 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am SLP Firehawk (for FH5)

Specs for the 30th Ann. TA:

  • 5.7L LS1 V8 producing 320 horsepower and 335 lb-ft of torque
  • Choice of a 6-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmission (don’t care which one we get) with power driving the rear wheels
  • Only 1,064 made (coupe and convertible) for 1999 only, with 613 of them having the manual
  • According to MotorWeek, it goes from 0-60 in 5.4 seconds

Specs for the Firehawk:

  • It also has the 5.7L V8 but it’s increased to 345 horsepower thanks to having SLP induction
  • 6-speed BorgWarner T56 manual transmission with an optional Hurst shifter
  • 0-60 in 5.2 seconds with a top speed of 145 mph according to Fastest Laps
  • Around 1,501 Firehawks were made in 2002

Engine swap option suggestions (for both):

  1. 5.2L V8 (Shelby GT350R ‘16)
  2. 6.2L V8 (LS3)
  3. 6.7L V8T Diesel (F-450 ‘20)
  4. 7.0L V8 (Camaro Z/28 ‘15)
  5. Racing 7.2L V8 (RJA Pro Truck)
  6. 8.9L V8 DSC
  7. 10.4L V8 Crate Engine (Chevy 632)
  8. 8.4L V10 (SRT Viper GTS ‘13)
  9. 7.7L V12 (Cebera ‘98)

The Firebird Trans Am did use the 400 cubic inch ( 6.6 liters ) v8 from 1969-1979, aswell as the 455 cubic inch ( 7.4 liters ) V8 between 1973 and 76.
In 1977 and 78, the 400 cubic inch engine was again top of the line, and in 1980 it was replaced by the ill fated 4.9 liter ( 301 cubic inch ) turbo v8, which was not a success sadly.
From 1982-1986 the Chevy 305 cubic inch ( 5.0 liter ) v8 was used in the 3rd gen Firebird Trans am, and from 1987-1997, the Chevy smallblock 350 cubic inch engine was used, and in 1998, it was replaced by the new LS1 5.7 liter v8.

i will enlighten yall. Nobody would mod the trans am ws6 into gta v, due to only select americans like this car. So i paid 80 bucks to a swedish kid to convert it and i obtained the rights to it, then i released it to the community, and it get 7k downloads in around 5 years. That is horrible. This is my favorite muscle car i have owned one but its far from a europeans ideal car. Most hate it. The devs are not americans. So you can kiss this idea goodbye and stop dreaming.

YESSS. We need a 1998 f-body ws6 in Forza Horizon 5 PLS.
