POLL: Has your experience with rammers improved?

From a user on a social media platform. I wanted to get more attention for this. Stuff like this should be automatic console ban no exceptions. Wana drive like that get on a game where you can do that, not here on Forza where people want to have a decent clean race.

Worse.
Now when I literally get attacked, pushed out of the track, rammed etc I’m the only one getting a penalty.
Not only for hitting but also for violating the track limits.
It is always the same scenario.

I’m normally S 48xx/49xx but with those people I always go down to A.

It’s been months since I’ve seen somebody deliberately try to wreck another driver. Most incidents I come across are completely accidental, which I’m ok with.

S/4998 and I see a few rammers. Actually intentional rammers are relatively rare but there’s plenty of drivers who drive let’s say… inconsiderately. They just don’t seem to anticipate/care what’s likely to happen in certain scenarios during a race.

There was someone, who I wish I could call out publicly, in the C class open just this morning who was fast but dirty.

yes however some people are slowing right down on purpose to try & give you a penalty it needs to be changed or removed from giving you a penalty when someone ghosts deliberately by slowly down right in front of you please find a solution T10

Do it call them out remember the Xbox community guidelines if someone reports you you are very likely to get a suspension especially when you can record 60 seconds of communication choose your words wisely!!

Was better there for a while. But I guess since the player count is low now, and we have to race the lower tiers now. Just reported 3 people yesterday for blatantly ramming me for no reason. go to wreckfest if you wana act like that.

One thing I’ve seen more of lately are drivers that push you off the track when you go to make a pass. They either stop you from passing (maybe wreck you) or you get an off track illegal pass.

Yep have experienced this to

Is this allowed? I’d love to upload my videos

Had a few races over the last couple of days. Public multiplayer makes me want to take a shower after I ragequit that game. Not because it’s good sweaty racing but because of how dirty the whole experience is. You get a 2 second penalty at the grid because someone span out at the start, then you get a ridiculous penalty for going slightly wide and LOSING time, then some guy pushes you off the track completely or spins you out and gets 0.5 sec penalty. The way penalties work right now - they reward rammers.

Thanks to Forza my xbox is now filled wth bike games where it’s actually fun to race against AI. Also Forza screams “low quality” compared to games like MotoGP, Ride, Rims Racing in every aspect. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

Been back at it for a week and feel mixed about the matchmaking

I never ran into any trolls in the promoted lobbies, namely the Velocity Series—which makes zero sense to me, the opposite of what I’d expect—but the skill ceiling was extremely low, so most of the matches aren’t that entertaining

I jumped into the short A-Class hopper to experiment with new builds and had nothing but headaches with classic T1-T3 smooth brained congestion. Competition was high but these short hoppers are always capped off with meta dweebs

Multiclass had great etiquette, just a complete lack of competition and everyone stacking into A/S Class

GTP/C has so much potential but nobody plays it. And the small handful of people I did play WERE absolute trolls that wouldn’t let me pass, and would also try to dive bomb. The only way I could weave through was to pressure them into a mistake and get them to run off. The skill gap is dreadful in this series. Didn’t have one lobby where at least 80% dropped out before the halfway point

Matchmaking for me (A:45-700) is easily 10x better in the last two months since launch. Have seen a few folks try some things, but they were ghosted.

Very satisfied.

Yes it has definitely gotten much better since launch, I have had a lot of super close racing like 3-6 cars all within 0.1-0.2 of each other. (I am A4700-4900)

Ramming has not improved for me, nor have the penalties for it.

Usually:
• drivers who ram me get no penalty,
• or the tiny penalty rammers get is far less than the time they gain from ramming me out of their way,
• or I get a collision penalty for being rammed (?!?)

After qualifying 1st or 2nd, I was flagrantly rammed off track in the first couple turns in 10 out of my recent 12 consecutive spec Touring Car races over the previous few days - by different drivers each time, not just one trouble-maker.

When I was clawing back positions after returning from The Shadow Realm, nearly all of those TC lobbies also had swerving blockers in the back aggressively trying to prevent anyone from passing them.

It’s a flippin’ circus, and there doesn’t seem to be any deterrent to discourage such unsportsmanlike driving.

High speed car lobbies, like GTP/C, GT3, Velocity Tour are a nightmare: a lot of players enter without a proper setup and can’t event keep the car stable on track, ending in massive collision and ramming during racetime. On slow peace lobbies things got a lot better imho, but still you can find the players who will divebomb you to secure a position because even 3 sec of penalty are a good trade when you cut off the race your opponent for the victory. Than we got the multiclass lobbies who need a massive redo imho: four class are too much and provvide few opponent to race vs. Worst of all most players in S800 don’t give a damm of ramming C500 and B600 players out in the warp. Three multiclass lobbies D400-C500, B600-A700 and S800 R900 would be a better pick.

People can’t behave in the Mission R series in the beginning of the race.
