Plz give us a toggle to turn off the auto-tuning. I want to keep my settings thnx

Gettin tired of having to reload my tune every time your lil Ai auto-tuning changes it. My settings feel better. Whole lot less understeer. More compliant. I know what I’m doing. We need a toggle to turn off your understeer auto-tuning immediately.

Don’t use Auto Tune then. It’s not something you have to use.
Just use your own tune.

Sure, if it didn’t automatically adjust my settings. Near impossible to keep my spring rates. I’ve seen my tire pressures change too. Doesn’t do anything to dampers or geometry, but I’ve seen it change other things. Especially when changing parts.

This topic perplexes me. I didn’t know this was a thing.

Don’t ask me - No idea why someone would even use auto tune on a previously tuned car.
Auto tune is obviously going to change things - that’s what it does.

Do you mean this?

I don’t know what Auto-tune is (other than the one musicians use).

And if you mean “Audo Upgrade”, then yeah, don’t click on it if you don’t want it change your settings.

I reckon that was what was meant in the first post.
Agreed - don’t use it except on an untuned car.

I tune my geetar by ear but probably tone deaf as it never works out how I want it…

No. What I’m talking about is when we change parts the spring rates and such get reset to whatever they think is best when we already had some set. Both FH and FM do this. FM more so than FH, but they both need a toggle.

That’s just the same thing essentially.
If you’ve got a chosen part and tuned it then auto upgrade to another then it’s going to stick the base part on. What’s the confusion ?

I don’t use auto upgrade. I manual everything. What’s so hard to understand about that? When I change the tire compound, the pressure changes. When I change an engine part, the spring rates change. It’s annoying.

Again - if you change any part it’s going to need retuning.
Your original post said Auto Tuning ( which would be Auto Upgrade).
You’re now talking about manually changing parts. Same goes - YOU NEED TO RETUNE IT.
Any part you change goes to stock values.

And it should not because that’s not how things work IRL. When I change a part on my car, I don’t have to re-tune the spring rates or anything. What’s so hard to understand here? I want a toggle to make it behave more like RL. Go away.

This ain’t IRL - it’s a game.
Hate to think how your new car parts work IRL if you’re not setting them up.

I will go away now. You’re impossible to discuss anything with. Good Luck.

And stop creating multiple threads on the same topic in different areas. Max doesn’t like that at all.

I’m requesting the toggle for each game. Wow you’re annoying. Find something better to do. If I said anything about auto-upgrade, I would have said auto upgrade. I did not. I said auto-tuning. If I want a toggle to make it closer to RL, what’s the harm in that? It’s a request, not an order.
