No Toyota except for an off market HILUX?
No Lexus at all?
This simply makes no sense to me.
I remember the blackout window on the GT-R because of Gran Turismo, and it was fine… it was just one car. Then there was the Porsche Blackout, because EA didn’t want to share back… I was ok with not having porches, because I don’t feel like Forza is a game about buying race ready cars.
Not having the most sought after models of Low priced sporty vehicles, is like saying there is cheesecake at the Office Christmas party, and then saying Bill just ate it.
I don’t have words to express how this makes me feel about purchasing the game. I always buy the same first car… to compare the games… and now its not even on the roster.
Toyota is pulling their production cars from all games. Lexus is a sub-brand and likely gone as well. I believe one game (GTS if I remember?) has like 1 or 2 new Toyota production cars. The rest are gone and as of the most recent info, there are none in The Crew 2, NFS PB, or PC2 either.

As an owner of two 86’s this just reinforces my decision that FM4 was the best racing game ever, and the last good FM before the ridiculous horizon or card buff based games. whether or not it was Turn 10’s fault or Toyota’s.

Don’t put any of this on T10 … this is all Toyota’s doing.

Correct regarding production cars.
A small number of Toyota race cars will be featured but have yet to be revealed.
No, we (consumers) don’t know why this is the case.
Microsoft know and the true reasons are confidential; “things didn’t line up this time” is the response they have chosen to give to the general public. That answer isn’t good enough for many people but as somebody who is familiar with video game licensing to a small degree, it’s good enough for me.

Yup, hardcore Toyota fan here too. Super super bummed. My excitement to get 7 has completely died. Not sure if I will yet, FM is my favorite game series, but Forza without Toyotas for me is a real stretch…
You could perhaps try by apologizing for starting a new thread on a subject that already has a locked thread on it halfway down the page.
