Hearing a song chopped up like that triggers my OCD off the charts.
The condition of the song now is a big black spot on the production value of the game.
Ideally we would find a similar song to replace it, but at this point I don’t even care how many songs we have in that genre, if it can’t be done right then just remove it altogether.
Given Young Ejecta’s NSFW cover art, I’m surprised they were included to begin with. Of course, the cover art used in-game is a benign alternate version.
Who would have thought that a song where the cover art has Leanne Macomber in her birthday suit, tied in bondage, being burned at a stake (albeit cartoonishly), might have even slightly provocative lyrics?
I think if they’re having such a problematic time with the ESRB and overprotective parents, they should just remove the existing music from the game altogether and replace it with some random production music. Or they could just recertify the game. ESRB E for Everyone and PEGI 3+ were not intended for this type of game, but for preschool educational software.
And for the next installment, listen to the lyrics before clearing a song for the soundtrack. Or better yet, target a sensible age rating.
they shouldn’t remove … but rather add the age restriction filter option.for those who don’t like this type of music.to not appear on the radio or censor
