Hey folks,
Prior to this past fix, I was on my way to completing the entire series with full points for all seasons.
After yesterday, I am now missing points from the first 3 seasons with no way of making them up (as you can’t go back in time and finish past expired events).
Probably too much to expect they fix this but I’m just curious if anyone else has encountered this

Please mark ‘Explorer’ and ‘Riveting’ forzathon daily challenges as completed for everyone.
Before Friday’s update, Seasons were showing more than 100% points possible to achieve, so even with those two broken challenges I received the golding on my Series 1.
Friday’s update sorted out the points mess on Seasons, they now show correct values for every Season (for example, 65/65, not 68/65). As a result I will be 2 points short across whole Series 1 to have the Series golded.
The gold color on my Series 1 in Series History screen has been retracted with the update.
Explorer – it was not possible to complete that if you already did all Expeditions.
Riveting – it was not possible to complete that if you already beat all Stories.
Which I did.
Please don’t punish us for playing the game early and completing various tasks earlier than when those daily challenges popped up.

Agreed. Either auto-complete them for everyone, or else lower the points needed to “100%” Autumn by two points. I’m a huge completionist so this is killing me.

Absolutely. There seems to be a lot of completionists in this forum and this was their one saving grace - the counter allowing 4 points over the max to mitigate the faulty challenges. I would imagine for many of those people, not being able to 100% Series 1 will be a huge disincentive to complete any others.
If PGG don’t rectify this with a retrospective score, there’ll be quite a few players who won’t be “engaged” (or whatever metric they’re using to keep people playing weekly) going forward, because there’s no longer an incentive to maintain 100% Series completion.
I’m not a completionist, but I can tell you that games that I have played with seasonal scores, the first month that I don’t 100% is usually a big indicator of my play time on that game beginning to drop off, as it goes from a higher target to just completing the necessities to get something new (e.g., just enough to get the car).
What I’m saying is, for a certain subset of players, this might be a bit of an own goal for PGG in terms of keeping them engaged long term.
I very much agree with this. I’m ashamed to say that for games I really like, I enjoy hitting 100% on the FOMO stuff. I had 100% on every FH4 playlist up until the week that FH5 released. It’s not even for bragging rights as I don’t have many IRL friends who play Forza, but seeing the run of gold was a “thing” for me. Having the first month being less than 100% (even though I know it was due to a bug) is absolutely a disincentive to the format going forwards. An own goal is exactly how I’d describe it.
I do agree with this being auto completed. However the two I missed were explorer and eliminate two people in a single eliminator. Which was impossible as every time I have played it, I ended driving around by myself for 20 minutes. Plus it’s a game mode I loathe and really shouldn’t be a requirement in a series to do game modes players dislike.

I would throw in the eliminate 2 players in Eliminator challenge from last week as well. How can you beat invisible players? I agree that lowering the total points needed for Gold would be best or just gold it for everyone.
