Hey guys!
Hopefully your day is great - i just had a quick question:
Does somebody know what the maximum LVL a player can reach? Is it like FM7 500 ?
No lie I saw someone with level 494 yesterday in my race, don’t know what’s gone on there!
He also had a separate star and number next to the main level number, about 94 I think it was; no idea what that was either!
I’ve seen one player on a Rivals leaderboard that is at 1 star level 83 while I’ve seen another player at no stars level 551. I have no idea how many stars one can earn on their driver level as I’m not sure at what level one gains a star nor the cap on how many stars can be earned nor if additional stars will take more driver levels to achieve.
The highest I’ve seen 255 in multi-player.
There is a known bug that causes your driver level to suddenly increase to a very high value. I got hit with the bug yesterday and my player level jumped from approximately 102 to 818. Now I’m at 824. I’ve seen other report theirs going over 900. So we know it can at least go that high.
Just one of the 100’s of bugs this game has released with.
With your info, I’d say that the driver level can go to 999 and leveling up past that will award the player a star. I’ve just finished an R class 100 lap race at Spa and went from level 90 to 106 in a little over 4 hours or about 1 level every 15 minutes. To gain enough XP to level up 1,000 times would take close to 250 hours or over 10 days.
For that race, I’ve earned:
- 163,800 XP
- 218,400 Credits for finishing the race plus the VIP bonus of 218,400 Credits
- 96,000 Difficulty bonus(drivatars were set to 6/10)
- 4,350 Ruleset Bonus(Club rules)
- 105,000 Credits for the level ups
Total Credits earned: 642,250
435 miles were driven to make the XP earn rate per mile to come out to about 376.55 XP per mile.
I’ve finished an X class 100 lap race at Le Mans Old Mulsanne Circuit that took 5:12:29 to complete. My driver level went up from 122 to 146 or about 4.6 levels per hour. That cuts the number of hours to level up 999 times to earn a star down to around 217.17 or a little over 9 days.
Race Payout:
- 231,900 XP
- 309,200 Credits + the VIP bonus
- 136,050 Difficulty bonus(6/10)
- 6,200 Ruleset Bonus(Club Rules)
- 175,000 Credits for 24 level ups
Total Credits earned: 935,650
841 miles were driven to make the XP per mile to be about 275.74. It’s less than what I’ve earned on Spa.
The car I used reached Level 50 in about 49 laps.
One thing I’ve learned about the game while running those endurance races is the XP and Credit payout rates vary depending on the track. More testing is needed to determine if the car used affects these payouts or if the payouts is the same regardless of car.
Yesterday I entered the game for the first time, now I’m level 920 + star. I hope they don’t ban me
my driver level bugged after a race with my Toyota GT ONE, my driver level went from 74 to 333 star 256… like what!!! the game is completely bugged…a real mess it’s sad
Depending on how many stars one can earn, the true max level for FM(2023) will take years to achieve. Based on the glitched 423 star examples I’ve seen, it would take about 10.5 years of nonstop driving that doesn’t stop for any reason. Getting to 999 stars level 999 will take over 25.3 years of playtime.
In other words, the true max level could be impossible to achieve.
In other words, depending on what is the true max level,
Yes. And one I wish they would hurry a fix on. I’m getting accused of cheating in MP and had at least one person ramming me because I was “cheating scum”.
Not kidding I saw some level 987 with 400+ stars today. What the hell
Running a 25 lap X class race at Maple Valley Full Circuit that took about 32:10.182 to complete, my driver level went from 156 to 159 or about 5.58 levels per hour. That is good for cutting down the number of hours to level up 999 times for a star to about 179 hours or 7.46 days.
Race Payout:
- 23,850 XP
- 31,800 Credits + the VIP bonus
- 14,000 Difficulty Bonus(6/10)
- 650 Ruleset Bonus
Total Credits earned: 78,250
While each track has different payout rates, I’ll have to run a much longer race to see if there is a decay in the payouts to deter players from finding ways to automate the driving to farm credits and car levels.
I am at Level 800 something, but thats only because I did the quick Money glitch.
Went from level 40 to level 250 in less than 10 minutes.
I’ve done another X class race at Maple Valley Full Circuit though it was 100 laps and took 2:05:31 to complete. My driver level went up from 160 to 169 or about 4.43 levels per hour.
Race Payout:
- 95,400 XP
- 127,200 Credits + VIP bonus
- 55,950 Difficulty Bonus(6)
- 2,250 Ruleset Bonus
- 70,000 Level Up Bonus
Total Credits earned: 382,900
I can now confirm there is no Credit and XP payout decay for running long races. More testing is needed to see if the amount of XP to reach the next level increases for higher driver levels or if it’s a fixed amount.
Segment scores only award CXP for the car you’re driving.
You’re really good in endurance. Maple is my favorite track, the longest I tried was 10 lapse race. Mostly I stick with 6 as I lose focus beyond that.
I wonder what your are getting in segment score. The most I got was 5 consecutive 9+ (50 CXP) in B class car. That happened only once.
In A class, the segment challenge becomes too difficult for me. Most segment between 5 and 7 with only two 9+
My segment scores for X class tend to be 10 barring a mistake such as overshooting a curb strip or turns that require precise braking to have a shot at a 10. The F1 cars handle very well and allows me to take segments much faster than what the racing line suggests.
The main problem racing these F1 cars is the AI tends to make a lot of mistakes and go off track even at the highest difficulty and I then have to spend much of the race weaving through a field of backmarkers that fall multiple laps behind though there is a setting to ghost cars that are about to be lapped. The AI struggles even more if it’s raining.
Revisiting Spa in an R900 KTM X-Bow GT2 with slight tuning adjustments, I’ve shaved a few seconds off of my previous best laps to get to 2:20.444 which is about 10.1 seconds off of the record time. Those that learn how to drive fast without the assists and using a manual transmission with clutch are on a completely different level than what I’m at. If I can master driving with a manual transmission, I could cut that time to under 2:19 without having to grab one of the top 3 leaderboard cars.
It’s humbling to see that while I may be fast, there are still plenty of players that have better reflexes and hand coordination which are 2 things that keep me from being good or great at many games.
What do stars mean anyway .
That may have been me
For some reason after one of the races my level jumped significantly to 922, with 469 stars next to it… I was like wth
However, been playing again today, and after a few races it’s reset me back to driver level 1, so even the 20 odd levels I should be at has been removed…
A bit of a joke in my opinion.
How could they mess up something as simple as a driver level to the point where I am level 1, with 6 level 25 cars
