I game in my living room too (well…gaming room actually). I have a wheelstand and sit on the couch when I play. Theoretically, I could fold things up and put them in the corner or closet when I’m done, but I’m too lazy and just leave them out, since I’m playing almost every day.

Who ever forced anybody to pay for micro transactions? I never felt the urge to pay real, extra, money for virtual credits. I saw the option when GT7 came out and then hid the icon. Period.
Sure not having many credits at the very beginning was painful (again, when GT7 was released) but then PD patched the game and added the option to rent cars for Daily Races online. Plus lots of rewards.
Never had a single problem since then. Never paid for anything.

Grid legends is an absolute blast,I dont think its as sim focused as FM23 and the car rosta is a bit light but its fun,which is what a game should be.I bought the Deluxe Edition,but didnt pay £79.99 on the microsoft store, I bought a base copy from ebay for £7.99 and paid for the Deluxe upgrade for £17.99.All in £25.98.

If you enjoy this game than continue playing it. Other peoples opinions are just that, opinions. You dont need to use a desk for a wheel, they sell wheel stands that fold up and can be put wherever. But either way play whatever you enjoy.

Great game, i have yet to try after the recent update. But i think they should really think about making a sequel preferably with a different business model.

I loved GRID 2019. The visuals were some of the best I had ever seen in a racing game and dear God … Those car sounds 
Physics were okay but it was a very fun, engaging, and engrossing racing game.

Lucky you. In 2013 burglars broke into my home while I was abroad (very abroad…China) and they stole my X360 Elite along with FM4 limited collector’s edition.
CarX:Street has me smiling at the moment, boatloads of fun and only $28 for Deluxe Edition…
Very well articulated. I basically said the same thing months ago under another topic. There really isnt much in the way of fm, especially from a standpoint of being perfectly playable on a controller and more accessible than ACC, acc competizione or even gt7.
Assetto corsa Evo could potentially be that game. Judging from the trailer it basically said that "your rig doesnt matter, its about the love of cars " or something similar. So i assume it’ll be much more playable on a controller. Will see…
By the time AC Evo comes out on consoles (something tells me it will be out on PC first and for a while before it comes to console) FM would have had so many updates that it should be in a good state. Or we might get another game

Regarding Assetto Corsa requiring a wheel… I don’t know how it plays on a controller as I used a wheel, but regardless I recommend getting a wheel. It doesn’t have to be top shelf. I had a $400 wheel that broke and later replaced it with one that was like $200-ish. No, it’s not as nice, but it gets the job done and I enjoy using it. You don’t need an expensive stand for it, either. My $400 one was mounted to an old computer desk, until the motor went nuts and ripped the top of the desk off. (I’m not exaggerating.) I’m currently using a $70 stand. You can even improvise one, if need be. Again, I would like a nicer stand, but the one I have works.
Yes it’s a PC only release, with consoles taking the backseat (trunk actually), during development. That’s how it should be, but unfortunately for Forza it wasn’t. They dumbed FM23 down to make it run on the Series-S for gamepass plebs and it’s ruined the whole esthetic of the game for the PC crowd. It looks nothing like the promo shots, even after extensive tweaking.

This is such a weird elitist comment. Firstly because you can play it with PC game pass too, secondly because game pass is way better value than buying this game, and thirdly this game already looks better than most racing games. It’s not being held back by the S at all
