Been playing with this one while taking time away from tougher paints.
Fresh out the paint booth…
Since there is no S4 with curved headlights, I settled with the RS6 as it was the closest to looking like the S4’s front end, outside of the Avant. I also plan to add some more Awe Tuning street cars, as I know some of us don’t always want a logo filled car on the track… more soon!

Audi is looking great mate but I am EXTREMELY excited for those Gr.B tributes. I can’t wait to see how they come out, even if they just end up being replicas I will still be a happy man. Again, good work as always with the Audi. I can’t wait to see more.

Added these to the share front… Simple, subtle AWE Tuning street replicas. The orange S3 is from an S5… was messing with an S3 tune so I painted it on there, because painters aren’t allowed to drive naked! I highly suggest using the HRE rims from the pics for maximum authenticity!!

Here’s an update on my other little project… Once I get a good chunk of free time to go at the portraits, I’ll post more progress. I’ve since added the blood types to the Lancia and darkened up the line work, noticed I still need to add the “o” symbol between the Lanica and S4 on the rear. I’ve also toned down the number badge on the Audi. Still not calling the replica side 100% yet but their damn close…
Good source pics other than diecast cars were tough to come by for this one… oddly.

The VW R32 has been a favorite of mine since FM2… Especially liking it FM5 and 6. I’ve also been rocking a Dahlback paint or some variant since then… Not a fan of the Milltek paints and there seems to be nothing else that grabs me to want to paint it.
So I decided to try and convert Sebastien Ogier’s 2015 WRC Polo to it. I think it’s turning out okay, would be nice if the gas cap was higher so I could add the rear wheel vents but oh well. I still have to finish the line work on the roof, add the four vents on the hood and add a little detail here and there. Thought I’d toss a few pics up, probably have it finished tonight or tomorrow. Had to take a break from the Audi and Lancia… me and the guys I race with use the R32 a far amount so I figured it was time to give it a proper painting.

Here’s an update of my 'Group B Legends" project… (more details are in a previous post on page 2 if your curious)
Started with the Toivonen portrait first, as its the harder of the two. Pretty happy with how its going so far… I’m not up to par with some of the other guys around here, but for me, this has been a step up from past portraits. I can paint and draw portraits with ease IRL, and its always annoyed me that I couldn’t transfer that to the Forza world as well. I’ve got some learning to do with hair, but there’s not much to do here so hopefully I can manage it. I’ve only used three shades of grey and it’s helped manage the shading alot, trying to avoid black and white to give it a “worn vintage” look. eh…?
I’m about 1,200 layers in and have a total of 2,200 available after the Martini replica stuff. It’s quite nice to have an abundance of layers to work with. I’d call this 50% done… gotta fix the zombie-like right eye. Lips, ears and forehead haven’t even got shading yet, so there’s much to do. Any suggestions from the pro’s would be cool… or even idea’s for a third driver/car? Maybe Timo Salonen in the Peugeot smoking while driving? lol

Got a quick update on the portrait. Thanks to my little one taking a stellar nap, I got some more done on this today. Added shading to an ear, the lips, touched up the nose, eyes and cheek. Will have to tackle the other side of the forehead and the near uni-brow later on. Not sure when it’ll be finished but its getting close.
