Mine’s Nissan Juke-
Hopefully, if there is one thing I’m known as, as a painter around these parts…it’s for my Jumpmans! Been faithfully recreating Tinker Hatfield’s designs onto Forza’s Honda/Acura’s since FM2. I’ve probably done around 25 versions, with a multitude of color schemes and more limited runs to go with them. So in the grand Plop/Mojo tradition, I’ve got 5 colors on offer for this remixed/revamped/remastered version. I plan to do more designs in the future, but this one needed the ‘next gen overhaul’ first. I plan to pull the carbon fiber version after a week to keep it a special limited edition, of sorts…

Here’s my latest… spent a good amount of time on it today and finished it up. Not overly thrilled how the hood scoops turned out, but think I got the Mighty Mouse guy and logos pretty spot on. I couldn’t do the Yokohama logos on the front end due to crazy warping. The molding prevented a realistic look to the wide body work, but I think it turned out pretty well over all… Please excuse the mass amount of pics, I take them terribly and wanted to get one decent shot of this little rocket. The track shots have an uneven outline on the pink “motorsport” section on the side, the showroom pics are the final-final paint in the sharefrontstore.

Some really nice work here mate, love that Corvette. I need to find a use for my Bruce Lee as well, couldn’t understand why the design wouldn’t copy across even though I’d taken the lower case a’s out lol.

Mexico: I think it’ll transfer if we get the DS3 as DLC, I’m hoping so anyway!
I added two more new paints today from the new DLC. Did the #6 1939 Belgrade Grand Prix paint for the Benz W154, a whopper of a paint with almost 100 layers! I also painted up a 142-S replica for the new '67 Volvo, both are pretty simplistic, but work well.
And thanks to the update today, I’ve transferred the last batch of my FM5 paints. Including the Turn In Concepts Subbie, a vintage '65 Shelby and a personal fav, my Sox & Martin Cuda.
Mighty Mouse turned out very well

Haven’t posted anything new this week, been working on a few Group B Rally tributes that I’ll hopefully have done soon. I may also have an old FM2 car in the works, I miss the Awe Tuning Audi so I randomly decided to start working on that as well…

I’m liking some of your other cars as well Piscettios - think this is the first time I’ve had a good look through your gallery - nice mix of different paint styles in here. All of them look really clean and well done. I like the Hieroglyphics Focus but have no idea what the inspiration was (band?) just wondered.

Thanks for the compliments… The Hiero car is from one of my fav albums, their sort of a rap collective from Oakland. With a sub-group called Souls of Mischief. All the logos are from their solo work and each had a little logo of their own. The “Powered by Dune Methane” is ‘doin’ my thang’ a song called Dune Methane off that album. They had an album called Focus, hence the use of the Ford.

Here’s a little teaser for my next project/idea… Gonna do some Group B tributes. I plan to put these portraits on the hood of their respective cars(both are boring hoods without much going on). Thought it would be cool to pay a little tribute to the actual drivers of these fine machines, rather than just replicate their paint jobs. I think I’ll do the ports in black and white. Haven’t attempted a portrait since FM4, so I think it’ll be best to take color out of the equation as I always seem to struggle with it. Plus, it will will take less away from the replica part if their a bit subdued. I just need to finish the Tour De Corse plate for the S4 and the replica part is done for both. I have about 2 hours in on the Toivonen portrait… Will post some pics when/if I’m happy with how he’s looking.
