Pictures not showing on mobile device / tablet

Hi guys, sorry for being old and not tech savvy, since the new forums have launched I cannot see photos people have posted in their threads. I can see my photos in my gallery section but just not in the thread themselves. I don’t know if this is a setting I can change on my tablet or a problem with the forums not compatible with my particular tablet.

Is anyone else using the samsung galaxy tab II 10.1.
If i need to change settings on the tab, please keep it simple like your explaining it to a 2 year old, actually a 2 year old would probably get it quicker than me

Cheers Pid

I have the same tablet, and the same problem. My home PC is down for a bit, and this 7s a bummer, as I can no longer look at paints. I was just fine on the old site.

The forum modifies itself to the screen size you are using… no real way to get around that.

I’m on a galaxy S3, I can see pictures in portrait mode but can’t see likes, post count / Forum rank etc.

In landscape mode I can’t see pictures but can see other info.

Can you rotate the screen on your tablet?

That happens on my phone, can view pics in portrait but not landscape on the tablet it doesn’t matter what way i turn it.

This isn’t an ideal solution, but please try downloading the Chrome or Firefox apps (if you are currently using the default browser). The default browser on some Android devices currently has rendering errors.

I had thought about using chrome, but like the computer idiot that I am I must have pressed a button somewhere along the line that said always use default browser and can’t find how to switch it to chrome

Try navigating to this link to install Chrome: Chrome Play Store link

Thanks for the advice, I’ve now added chrome and it all works fine now, I thought I already had chrome installed but appears I haven’t, will use it from now on for the forums

I am glad this solved the problem for you. There are bugs logged for fixing the issues with the default browser, so in the future this will hopefully not be an issue.
