Photo Mode features from Gran Turismo

Id really love to see photo mode become a more serious feature like how it is in Gran Turismo.

A number of users may be unfamiliar with what photo mode features you’re referring to if they haven’t played another game. Please specify which feature improvements you’d like to see in Forza’s Photo Mode.

It would be a photo mode selected from the general game menu, as opposed to the pause screen in an in-race scenario. It could be like Autovista from FM4, but offer a variety of different locations with freely-controlled camera settings and movement (meaning not restricted to a specific radius of the car). Locations would also not be restricted to pit lanes or track limits.

Gran Turismo’s photo mode (as I remember it from GT5) featured town centers, highways overlooking buildings with modern architecture, RedBull’s corporate headquarters, etc. The cars would have several ‘snap-in’ set locations within the scenic areas, where you could modify specific steering angles, vehicle rotation within the ‘snap-in’ location, headlight adjustments (such as fog lights on, low beams on, high beams on, DRLs on, etc.). You also could add multiple cars to one scene and adjust their settings individually.

Locations could include iconic locations like the TopGear studio, San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, the Ferrari Factory in Maranello, Italy, Fallingwater, Porsche Museum AG, etc. Or it could also just feature visually-pleasing locations like the Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks, California’s Big Sur, Cologne Germany, etc.

The photo mode would become it’s own space within the game, as opposed to just a pause menu/garage feature.

Exactly what was referenced by @Player_One1277 above. Something like that down the line in the new Forza would be great. It would be awesome to snap a pic of our custom livery cars in different scenic views, or in interesting landscapes. Adding multiple cars from our garages to the same picture as well.

Features like: format, resolution, warm or cold colors, sharpness of the photo, blur, effects, filters, different lens, etc can make it a pro mode :grinning:

Even photo mode features from FH5 would be great.

I’d like to request just one photo mode feature to be added to Forza Motorsport (or borrowed from FH5): an option to turn wheels of the car in the home space (in ForzaVista)
