On PC, nvidia driver 536.23.
Specifically, the menu lags/stutters/freezes in the upgrade menu when choosing indiviual parts, such as different wheels or different engine mods. It seems like going in between menus and options causes the game to not function normally, dropping the frame rate from my normal capped 72 fps to … well much lower. counting the frames from the recording, I’m counting 30 frames where the screen freezes like so, before it renders the next frame, and then there’s another 30 frames until the next selection. (car and paint censored because I’m not taking any chances)
also the in game fps counter is inaccurate so the 8 fps is actually 2 fps or less

Its been like this for a while. I thought I figured out how to prevent it by turning off path traced lighting. But now its way worse and doesnt get affected by that setting anymore. Its not just wheels or visuals either. The whole upgrade UI is chugging.

Currently I present some performance problems when I equip some improvements and customization (10-30 fps) , that is in the update of upgrade heroes, previously in the other series it did not present that (When I change tire compounds or it also happens when I search and scroll down all the wheels).

This happened with the last donut media update too, laggy upgrade menus (lags on item selection change). This game is so disappointing and broken at this point I didn’t even bother reporting.

amd rig here, same situation but i only noticed it scrolling through wheels. reset drivers, downloaded latest, no change.
