Since devs can’t find solution, u have to help them a bit by testing thing a bit LOL
Liveries are not correctly handled on pc.
While it is disabled, game works pretty much perfectly for me. If I enable player liveries whole stability goes down the drain, huge stutters, network connection dropping before races etc. It turns in to a complete mess.
Long story short:
Set the Drivatar / Player Livery quality to Auto under the Graphics settings tab, and you can keep your other preferred graphics settings intact.
Hope this helps.
Thank you CitricTabbie
Can confirm that after switching livery quality to “Auto” the game runs fine without any stuttering and massive fps drop in 2nd race.
Yes, changing this setting works however the FPS drop is just delayed not solved. I suffer the same FPS drop after about 7 races after changing this setting.
I have the same issue here, i play at 1080p 60fps, with RTX 4070Ti, i play the first race and its perfect, the next one my framerate goes down to like 40 fps ish, im not hitting maximum VRAM though and still have spare memory.
First launch and first race, the game is allready using a lot of VRAM and allready using some shared memory in my graphics tab in task manager but the performance is fine, and when the framerate does lower in the next race to sub 60, im still not hitting maximum memory usage, but it is high at around 11 GB, at 1080p, but the graphics settings are at ultra.
