[PC] XBOX ONE controller issues

Specs:
Ryzen 7 1700X CPU
32GB 3200MHz RAM
Vega 64 GPU

My problem is when in a car driving using my XBOX ONE controller the right analog stick moves the mouse around instead of looking around and the left analog moves the camera around instead of steering the car. I don’t have this issue on any of my other racing games and its an official Microsoft controller not a knockoff. Only other things plugged in to the pc at the time is a keyboard mouse and speakers. All my drivers are up to date.

While typing this I did more testing and found that if I Alt+enter to switch from full screen to window then again to go back to full it fixes my controller. I dont know why it does but I thought I should post my findings for anyone having this issue. The down side is it has to be done every time you launch the game.

Update: Turns out resizing the window only works some times. Another part of this issue is when using the left analog when it turns the camera I lose all throttle and brake controls.

Still have this issue. I have found if I click the left thumb stick a couple times the controller starts working again but randomly stops. I see the key prompts for leaving menus or selecting options goes from keyboard to controller when the controller isn’t working. I think the only reason clicking the left stick works is its bringing up the digital keyboard in the background and forcing it to stay on controller settings till it closes.
