PC Wheel deadzone + caliberation makes no sense?

So I’ve calibrated my wheel, but when I get in game it is always steering right even though its perfect. If I try to recalibrate my wheel, or even try to counter the turn, I have found out that the game has its own calibration and doesn’t go by what your wheel is doing. I ended up with not steering completely one way and the turning right never got close to being fixed after multiple tries. I assume it was because the game is going off some other calibration… Or in the least isn’t going off what my wheel is doing.

The wheel settings are a pain to change. ESC options controls and it’s in keyboard, so you have to pan left, then you have to press F to get into advanced… Well after doing it about 30 different times it gets very annoying… Also the only way to find out what your wheel is doing is through telemetry. Which adds to the hassle.

Deadzone doesn’t make sense or is backwards. There is inner and outer deadzone. Default is 100% deadzone on outside. That would normally mean the wheel is 100% deadzone. a 1-5% deadzone would be normal. But that’s not the real issue. My gas pedal was the only thing that was somewhat ok. My gas pedal has a bit of deadzone at the start that I can’t remove, my brake pedal is even worse. At first my brake pedal was only going 81% so I had to fix that with deadzone… by lowering it? Even though 2 different calibration tools said “EVERYTHING” was fine.

I used to use the scarlet.crush productions to use my ps3 controller to race. I had no issues with my keyboard input, but when I got my wheel plugged in, it started causing input lag with my keyboard or something.

I cannot for the life of me figure out why my wheel is so sensitive. It’s roughly a 220 deg wheel. (can’t find this info) But all I need is about 40 Deg to slam the car left or right. As well as strange input.

Steering, steering input, telemetry steering monitor DO NOT add up. According to telemetry my wheel is perfectly fine and very smooth. But for whatever reason it is going right and the steering I’m seeing with the car wheels is very choppy and maxes out really fast, while telemetry and my wheel still have many DEG to turn. Then the guy in the car is turning the wheel like crazy.

In short what is wrong is:

Game has it’s own calibration and doesn’t go by wheel calibration.
Deadzone is incorrect/doesn’t make sense.
Keyboard has input lag/unresponsive with wheel.
Wheel is turning right, “ONLY” in the game.
Changing wheel settings is a complete pain in the ass.
Car steering doesn’t add up.
Driver steering doesn’t add up.
Wheel movement doesn’t add up.
Telemetry steering doesn’t add up.
Wheel is SUPER sensitive.
Wheel does but doesn’t use the full range of its turning.
Brake pedal shows full input, but has to have a 85% deadzone… so 15% deadzone…
Both pedals have a starting deadzone even though both are at 0 and there is no issue in calibration software.

In reality, I only need to get my wheel steering straight and my wheel to quit being so sensitive and use the full range that telemetry is telling me I’m using. To finally race with my wheel. However I’ve spent hours trying to get my wheel to work with no success.
