It sounds like the pc vinyl editor is better than the console one. Is there any way to use my one account on pc to make vinyls but use them on my console?
If you have the digital download version, and bought on MS Store, it should work. If you have physical disk or bought on Steam, it will not work.
I have the MS store version on both XB1 and PC. Can confirm the above, the game syncs between systems.
The PC version of the vinyl editor is the same as on Xbox. The exact same.
The only advantage the PC can offer is the use of overlays for ‘tracing’ your work such as Glass 2k. I use Windows Top.
That’s what I went over to PC for. I stayed for the graphics but moved for the sake of vinyls.
If you have it for the console, you can download it for the PC for free (at least I did). I use the PC for creating liveries and the console to race. I find the PC much easier to use than the console for vinyls and liveries. Aside from the overlay thing Nugsy mentioned (I use sketch designer), moving and sizing things with the mouse is much quicker. I was able to get things a bit more accurate on the PC (even though I play on a 65" tv), but sketch designer really allows to create almost anything (given enough time, patients and talent (the later I am missing a bit of).
You use the XBox app to play XBox games on PC, and then use Glass 2k to get the same benefits as the PC version.
