I just did two consecutive races. One at Daytona that was 2.97 miles and 3 laps. Base payout 11,000 credits. The next race was 4 laps at Suzuka 2.16 miles. Base payout 13,000 credits. So even though the Suzuka race was slightly shorter in distance I got nearly a 20% pay increase.
So it appears that number of laps must also somehow figure in or there’s something else going on.
Maybe time spent is a factor?? On rival events the longer i run time wise the more XP and CR i seem to get. or maybe it is a calculation of everything?
In Forza 6 each track had a base amount for each lap of a track. it had nothing to do with relative track length it had more to do with the demand a lap around the track took. You can pretty much close your eyes and lap Daytona’s oval so its per lap payout is smaller, Suzuka is more work so it pays more. Somewhere on the Forza 6 boards there is a thread that has the base payouts for each track listed if you are interested in finding it.
Here are the numbers from Forza Motorsport 6. These are for XP but credits should be relatively proportional. Go to this link and scroll down a few posts and you’ll see where it’s broken down by the person that was nice enough to do all the Dirty Work.
