Is it possible to start working on the Galant before it drops on Thursday? I went to “choose car” and went to “all cars” but I didn’t see it under Mitsubishi. I was hoping to get a head start on a livery before the season starts.
Used to be able to and maybe still can but not until it’s actually loaded into the game iirc, so have to wait for the next update probably ?
Can you still import from FH4? Assuming the Gallant was there? I don’t recall.

I think importing still works. Galant was a DLC in FH4 but you probably have it 
That might work ! I didn’t even think of the import route. Don’t think it’s shareable in FH5 until you can apply it though ? Or I’m misremembering.
Ha! That’s some creative thinking! FH5 is my first Forza, though, so that’s not an option for me. I’m guessing I’ll need to wait until they push the update which is usually Tuesday, right? That’d be plenty early. I probably only need an hour or so for the striping, and I already made the Miami Vice vinyl group so I’ll be in good shape to take the Galant on a trip to the 80’s. 
I misunderstood the “all cars” thing… makes sense that they have to have been downloaded first. Can’t show stuff it doesn’t know about. Though I’m kinda surprised they don’t push the cars out on series change. I guess it might reduce instances of hacking/abuse where you have folks auctioning and driving them before they are released.

Only autoshow cars are available in that list. The Galant is already in the game so you can search for liveries for it, there should be some. To create one in 5 you will have to own it.

Just out of curiosity I tried a livery search for the Galant, while it’s in the menu to search, it just keeps popping a server error when trying. So, it’s not really there yet ?
You can try this:
Paints & designs > choose car > all cars
Yes you can, but sharing the imported design will work after the beginning of the season.
