There are ao many good designs. Some of them really impress but aren’t at legendary status while others have reached that status while not offering anything special. Does it carry over from previous games?

Racing liveries, Anime, Replicas and alike take lots of time to make and (most) of the community likes them!
If you don’t like them, don’t use them. Your issue is easy for you to fix yourself, the 4WD + Engine swap and wall riding issues are about 10^200 times bigger lol.
I just want to know what “paints are nonstop” actually means?
I’m guessing that it’s the designs centered around anime girls that the OP is referring to.
When it comes to searching paints in the storefront, I’m more of a race/replica type person, but I don’t have anything against those who create fantasy designs. The Monster and Red Bull liveries tick me off quite a bit, however.
I recently found a painter who includes a female anime in almost every one of his paints. I looked at the paints and saw a painstaking amount of detail and work involved and thought “I need to follow this painter for his efforts”. I have. The anime characters are always in some clothing, perhaps a bikini, but are not naked. To me, that is within the community standards and should remain. I see other paints from people advertising a pornography website and believe those have no place in a game where kids play.
Oh, I absolutely agree. There really are some amazingly talented people here. And yes, I have a couple of the 5 start, very few( not sure how many) layers as well. Sense the “well places stripe” was referring too, Lol. I rate everything I use from someone else, but I also will not download or rate those that obviously took no effort or have something thats offensive.
I couldn’t disagree more with the OP. I’d rather download a livery that’s had countless hours spent on it and thousands of layers than alot of the repetitive ones such as Monster or Red Bull or even worse those 'legendary" 5 layer jobbies which my 7 year old could probably concoct.

At least those paint jobs have more work than the seven billion camouflage liveries, the one billion redbull/monster energy liveries, and the almost infinite chrome wraps, and all of them magically have 5 stars…always, even when you filter them with “realistic” or “replica” they still pop out within the first pages, its absolutly disgusting.
Agreed!! I do have the odd stupid design on some of my cars but I tend to go for extremely detailed replicas of either race cars or tv/film cars. Cannot be bothered with all the rubbish repetitive designs or the single layer “5 star” designs!
As someone who dabbles in paintjob creation on FH3 I have massive respect for the people who create the kind of stuff OP is referring to. Anime stuff isn’t to my taste but to create any kind of image more complex than basic lines and shapes is a real hassle and the level of detail these people are putting into their work is amazing.
No, I don’t think anything should be banned. Two things should be changed though:
1] The ability for higher tier painters and tuners to sell cars with ridiculous price tags. Make the sum more rewarding that the painter/tuner gets from his/her product, when someone downloads/uses/rates it. Nobody likes those lazy “legends”, who are just being [insert suitable word] with rare car prices. There are people, who couldn’t get forzathon car(s) (either they couldn’t play the game during that period or the forzathon was just broken for them), and now they have to pay millions and millions to some low effort “legend”.
2] Searching, filtering and sorting the designs and tunes - this be made a lot better.
I’ve built a number of Red Bull Liveries and a number of Monster Liveries as generally they’re the only things that really sell well these days. Got a few other designs I use now but nothing goes out as well as Red Bull or Monster I find.
Agree, the most popular designs are RB, Monster and Rockstar as it seems. I did them too, just to increase DL count.
