hello all. I’ve just got back into doing paint jobs after not doing any serious paintjobs since Forza 4. so bear in mind that I’m still a little bit rusty and even when I wasn’t I wouldn’t class my self as a top class painter. (I just don’t have the skill). having said that I would like some feedback on my first real paintjob since Forza 4. Links from our FM.net galleries don’t work like they used to. Best use an image hosting site like Flickr, imgur, Photobucket etc.
As far as feedback on your design goes, you’re on the right track. I’d say you definitely need to add some decals especially with a subject as iconic as the Simpsons. That inevitably means custom fonts, which can be a chore but the attention to detail makes all the difference

I did think it was a bit sparse but its good to get a second opinion that im going in the right direction. opened an imgur account so hopefully the new pics should post properly. this current set of pics is by no means the finished article but I have added some new decals. I don’t think the springfield power plant logo will stay in its current form as it doesn’t look quite right to me. I am quite happy with the duff logo though and am currently working on a pin pals logo. I am not the fastest of painters to so it may take a while but I will get there.

Your design is coming together nicely, clean lines and looks good and its original, I would add some logos as Midnyte said but you are on your way. And dont think your not as good as anyone else when I started I couldnt imagine doing a face or anything like that and I just did my first face design. So practice and you will keep getting better
