Just bought the car pass and porsche expansion pack and cars are not free within the game! What the hell T10? This profile owns the DLC, the DLC has never been run before let alone the free cars being claimed already.

The DLC was definitely not purchased through the other profile. It does not even have a saved payment option. Some sort of option to select which profile gets what perks is a MUST if you are going to pull this sorta waffles to PAYING customers. This has been as issue for years gauging by the other threads. It’s much of the same in FM5. Not going to be happy if it’s an issue with FM6 which I am yet to install but have most of the DLC already.
You can’t keeping screwing over paying customers like this people. You will go out of business, eventually. I like your games, but will only beat my head against the brick wall for so long.
Hard reset has been performed countless times since they were installed too. I am not even going to run the other profile so it doesn’t get kak’ed up even further. But it appears that the game thinks my profile is not the actual DLC owner when it is. It is exactly like my sons profile where the cars are there available to purchase but they aren’t free first time. There is no possibility that the other profile owns the DLC as there is no payment option for that account. It was not signed in at the time of purchase either.
I finally got mine working. Not sure if it was a change on T10’s side or it was my last ditch attempt to get it working. I am running the game from an external ssd drive so I’m not sure if this is the cause of the problem either. Here’s what I did, not sure if it’s all required:
Delete all associated DLC that is not working as it should (car pass + packs, porsche/rally packs etc…).
Hard reset/reboot console (hold power button for 8-10 secs) + pull power cord for 30-60 seconds.
Redownload DLC and place a copy on both internal and external drives. Mine seemed to download to my internal and I moved them to the external. Instead of moving, this time I copied so they were still on the internal + the external ssd.
Reboot again (repeat step 2).
Fire up your xbox and run the game.
I had done this several times previously (unsuccessfully) but was moving the DLC items to my external drive. This time I added a reboot process and copied not moved to the external ssd and the items were finally registering as free. HTH someone!
