I never played forza before, this is my first forza game.
Are there any other players in the game like multiplayer or something?
There’s a few ways to play. You start off playing solo career (I guess you could call it). There are no other live players in this, however there are drivatars. These are simply random cars besides the regular traffic that drive around. Many are random people, but you may see people from your friends list driving around (even if they dont have the game).
There’s also co-op career in which you and up to 3 people can play through the career mode and while I haven’t played this “mode”, I’m sure you can challenge the people you are playing with to little impromptu races like you can with drivatars. This is completely optional however.
There is also online multiplayer which has a few different ways to play. You can either drive around in freeroam with other players, do races against them, or play playground games against them (games like capture the flag, etc.). In online you’ll only be with the other players and traffic.
To add to the above, those modes have to be unlocked by progressing through single player, they’re not accessible right off the bat.
