FH3 described for a nub

Hi Guys,

Never played a FH game as ive never owned a console but glad its here so go easy if this seems obvious. Had to do lots of messing around getting the game stable but after a few table flips im able to get into the game and enjoy it. Probably seems like a retarded question to everyone but im trying to work out what exactly to do lol. First stupid question, are drivatars essentially a player driving around as an AI and if so are these ever online players? Understand the beep to race, but what for? Guess im just looking for the general gist, because at the moment all im doing is driving from marked point on a map to another which is fun but feel like im missing a large part of the game.

It’ basically an open-ended car racing sandbox. There’s no real “story” or “plot” to follow, or “quest line”.

Just drive around and do what you like. As you gain fans by winning races and completing stunts, you can unlock new festival hubs (4 in all) and upgrade existing ones (up to level 5). These actions will, in turn, unlock new races and stunts.

I thought the same thing when I bought the Ultimate Edition of FH3 just to find out there’s an “Expansion Pass” that is sold separate and would’ve been nice to be included in the that version of the game. But, Turn 10 and Playground are a business, so I’ll just to have to deal with it.

So in normal gameplay its offline right?

Yes. You can enter MP at any time in the “social” tab on the pause menu.
